This is a communications course, or a public speaking course?
-
They didn't teach you the rule of three? It's an old-school technique, and a very effective one. Basically, you practice until you speak in a natural cadence of threes. For example, "Read my lips... No new taxes..." If you are really dedicated, you will learn to speak in a natural rhythm of threes. It takes work though. The reason why is rather simple, the human mind, for whatever reason, responds to a cadence of three.

Are you ever not a rapey creep?

I'm such a nerd, or a sucker. Either way....

Practice. Practice. Practice. Don't forget the "rule of three".

That's crazy how I'm considered controversial and edgy

She aught to make you go to the unemployment office. Look, it is campaign season, I'm sure if you tried the local or State Democratic party would hire you on to knock on doors and make phone calls.

I used to be somewhat hostile to the devices, sadly now with my new assignments I find it to be invaluable. I still turn it off at 9pm though, to maintain my sanity.

The Toonami Ratings Thread 1.0 :You are on a new board
Ginguy replied to StarPanda's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
I hadn't noticed they had P 18-34 on that chart. I had thought it was P 12-34. [as] has always targeted 18-34 M, which the chart doesn't have a breakdown for, they have 12-34. In any event, all five of the listed Toonami shows had an above average share on Sat., which is great news. This is possibly what DeMarco is referencing when he trolls fans and tell them that numbers don't matter as much. He might be referencing market share, and if you are above avg. advertisers will indeed flock to you. Poke, Jojo still soils. It is kind of like the sun rising in the east, or the ocean being wet, it simply is.... -
I think you misspelled stalking....

Told ya he was a full-blown pedophile.

I thought anime fans caught shade because they are fat neckbeards who hide from the sun.... I'm not saying one is better than the other, I'm saying that the kinds of stories that anime feature have elements which are either extremely difficult or expensive to convey in a live action format. It is much easier to animate a bunch of dragons and orcs and tentacle rape slugs in an anime format than it is to film actors interacting and then add those fantasy elements in during editing. You can add in those elements in a show like Game of Thrones or Westworld, but those are expensive to do. It is easier to animate in an anime format, not to mention cheaper. If you cheap out in the live action, you end up looking like a crappy Syfy original movie where you can tell the sharktopus is fake.

The important part here is the 18-49 M column. As long as that is a shade of green or yellowish green, then things are good. When that turns yellow or red, that's bad. Just about everything else is gravy. All five of the shows in the top 50 are in that green to yellowish green, and DBS & DBZ both dominated in terms of share. Toonami did good, room for some improvement certainly, but they did good. -
Fantasy and escapism. It is easier to tell more complex stories with the medium as well. Just look at live action movies based on anime, aside from Kite. Most are pretty awful simply because it is very difficult to properly convey the action. Also giant boobs that defy gravity.
