rants Haters/Complainers: Legacy of Spleen
DragonSinger replied to mthor's topic in General Discussion
Dammit, I'm gonna have to blog regularly, aren't I. And now I'm paranoid that getting that many hits so quickly is because my main pseudonym got accidentally linked to it somehow. It's probably not the case because my phone would be dinging with notifications, but I'm still paranoid. There really is a light and day difference between starting a blog after years of experience of what catches visitors versus being a professional newb. -
This site just has the wrong kind of tagging

Yeah, it's was just a few folks like Peanutcat(hopefully is doing okay), so real tagging should happen here. -

I might do a seer costume again and try to replicate that year the fake eye on my forehead sent kids screaming away in terror.

Happy Birthday @blueraven1999. What's your avatar from? It's bugging me that I can't remember.

Seconding TCM. I go through their monthly schedule when I can remember and mark a bunch of stuff to watch. I only checked this morning though, so I fucking missed Suspiria and Throne of Blood(maybe not horror but dammit I wanted to see this). -

So Eldy and I had a pretty amicable split
DragonSinger replied to jackiemarie90's topic in Free-For-All
It's good that you guys handled this like adults. I was kinda wondering about this when you made that first post about how things were going at school and there wasn't any of that, "I really miss so-and-so and wish I could be with them right now," you see from folks who are in committed relationships going through trouble while long distance from each other. -
Haikyuu S3E1 The cheer war never gets old.

I'm mad that you can't tell the zombie skittles apart from the regular ones. The people I know only eat like a few fruit candies at a time, so this really makes it hard to prank them unless I can get them to eat a full bag. They couldn't add like a white dot on the candy or something? *Sigh* Bertie Bott's jellybeans had me so spoiled. -
Thank you blessed person!

The Thing(80's) had me shouting at the tv as an adult and convinced me if I had watched this as a kid, it would have given me a phobia of dogs. No other horror movie did that.

Godfuckingdammit. I need someone else to like the strawberry candies so I don't feel like a freak.

DragonSinger replied to jackiemarie90's topic in Free-For-All
If you want to go, do it. But if those same folks are going, say up front you were cool with hanging with most of them except for the food thief who tried to treat you like Lassie. If they give you drama over it, fuck 'em. It's hard at first to do this, but when you get used to it, you start to give no fucks about making a scene. -
