  1. I was looking for a gif of that robot from that new show Unicorn: Warriors Eternal, but I couldn't find one. lol
  2. "You, too, can be a steam-powered robot."
  3. I've decided to become a hermit. Why? Because people are ass.
  4. Happy Birthday!
  5. Wonton soup is good, man! When I lived on the northeast part of Houston, there was a Chinese place that served pork wonton soup. (I'm certain pork wonton soup is a common dish served at most Chinese restaurants, but that's not the point.) I'd always get the large bowl because it was actually pretty cheap at the time. (I don't know how much it is now; I haven't been there in a long, long time.) Now, I'd always end up putting salt and soy sauce in it to give it some flavor because, well, I love salt. lol But even without it, it was still pretty good.
  6. Sentient flying pizzas? Sounds like a bad movie idea.
  7. Goodness, man! You certainly do look like you don't feel well. Get better soon!
  8. I bet it was good, too. Congratulations, man! Now then, while I love supreme pizza, I have to be in the mood for it. I'm usually a pepperoni or pepperoni and sausage kind of guy when it comes to pizza. I do love veggies on it though, especially mushrooms and olives. In fact, I once had Dominos make a Brooklyn-style extra large Wisconsin six-cheese pizza topped with pepperoni, mushrooms, and black olives (with extra cheese, of course) and it was spectacular! If I could make my own from scratch, I would most certainly make it the same way. It was incredible! And this is exactly why I need to lose weight. I eat too much.
  9. The Coronation is probably the most overt display of oppulence I've ever seen. But then again, I'm not British.
  10. My circadian rhythm is still out of whack, but I'm trying to get it back to normal.
  11. I guess someone has to fill the nubbb void.
  12. Ours was a Daewoo that had Windows 95 on it. We bought it a few months before Win98 was released. (Dad with his legendarily bad timing, of course. lol) (Well, it was branded as a Daewoo, anyway.) The first computer that was actually for me was an HP laptop bought for me by my grandfather for college (my first attempt at college, anyway), and it had Windows ME, which required DOS, on it as well. It was serviceable for what I needed it for at the time, but it quickly became outdated a year later when Windows XP, which didn't require DOS, came out.
  13. We had a separate landline when we first got it so we didn't have that issue. My issue was my brother being online at the same time I wanted to get on. Now that was pretty annoying.
  14. I liked it, personally. But then again, I was in high school and thought the fact I could chat with people on the other side of the world was awesome! Of course, when we discovered about five or six year later that we didn't have to rely on AOL, the whole world opened up tremendously, because AOL, while great when you're first discovering the possibilites of the internet, ended up becoming archaic when all you needed was just an internet connection and a web browser.
  15. This, except we had AOL.
  16. Well, you're here. And luckily, there's nothing I fear. 'Cause I know that the heart really will go on, especially if you're an organ donor. (Please don't kill me. lol)
  17. That was very confusing. Thank you.
  18. Oh, I was just trying to be funny. 🤪🤣
  19. I love writing in-character content for my basketball sim league, but I just don't want to tonight. I don't feel inspired right now. (And right after I submit this post, inspiration will hit me and I'll write something in about twenty minutes, getting it in before the 12 AM Pacific deadline.)
  20. Of course, I just realized that the NBA and NHL have the first half of the first round determined by a lottery (ideally involving those franchises that failed to make their league's respective postseason) and the rest of the entire draft (round by round) determined by how each respective team finished the season. I mean there's been demand amongst those that cover the NFL that the league switches to a first-round draft format similar to the aforementioned leagues. (I remember Mike Greenberg wanting this several years back when he and Mike Golic had their weekday morning radio show on ESPN Radio.) I just don't think the support for it is loud enough for the league to actually go to that, unfortunately. This is the same league, mind you, that insists on the possibility of regular sesaon games ending in a tie, which I personally don't like, but also because it would also affect playoff positioning and even playoff qualification. (But that's a discussion for another time.) Case in point: The team owners in the league are stubborn and want to stick to the status quo, for better or worse, which sucks because instilling a Draft Lottery would, at least to some degree, discourage teams from tanking. (But you have those owners in the league.who would hate that because they see owning a sports franchise as a "status symbol" of their wealth.) Tl;dr: It's a great idea, but it's up to someone to aggressively push for it in NFL Owners' meetings. Otherwise, we'll never see it in the NFL.
