Between federal taxes and state taxes and the fact that I'm unmarried and have no dependents, I won't see any scary good money anytime soon. I typically make around $1050 after taxes every two weeks as my base pay, but I get close to $100 extra each month for something specific to my job, and in my first month there was 4 days I did the lead shift since that guy was out on vacation, so that was an extra $300 on my check, but the problem was they shorted me 4 days on the check before, which came out to around $500. So they added that $500 to the next check, but that plus the $100, plus the $300 from doing the lead shift for 4 days pushed me up into a higher tax bracket, so instead of making around $1900 for that check I only got $1500, over 700 was taken out for taxes as well as benefits. The nice thing I guess is with my job I do get free healthcare since it's just for me.

Am 27 now, and yeah up until this past December I felt like none of this was gonna start happening. and I really am happy about the person accepting my offer. My realtor insisted they would considering the owner is an elderly woman living in a nursing home, and the daughter that's selling the house lives over in Massachusetts, and this house has been off and on the market now for over a year. I'd imagine she'd jump at getting rid of a house in IL, and as for the furniture my realtor felt certain they'd be willing to leave it since it looks like everything the family wanted was already taken, so their choice is either include it or they have to deal with removing it.

And just a few minutes after posting this my realtor texted me that my offer was accepted. It being a 1020sqft 2 bedroom 1 bath house with a full basement, furnace and water heater being less than 4 years old, the appliances and the remaining furniture included (sofas, tables, etc) to some degree it was essentially an estate sale, some elderly folks being in a nursing home. The house being in real good condition and in a quiet neighborhood in a good part of town. My offer that they accepted being 65 grand and they pay the 2 grand worth of closing costs.

How goes it? Anything new and exciting going on in the lives of our fellow board members? Getting to the point somewhat, for me things feel like they're changing pretty fast considering I've been out of school for like 8 years and it really felt like I was stuck in an endless loop with no way out. But now it's different, I got a full time position at my govt union job, and it's only been 2 months and I'm now making an offer on a house. Even just 4 months or so ago it didn't feel like I'd ever get to this point.

I never gave a single fuck over anyone involved in abridged series. I watched and liked the DBZ one up to the end of Namek, stopped watching it after. Their people rub me the wrong way, and their lets plays are cringy af, especially when the ones I've seen them upload is essentially them acting like Vegeta is playing the game, them striking me as one trick ponies. As for LK, I seen some episodes of YGOA here and there, but I don't like the guy. Meeting your fans is one thing, but that dude definitely took advantage of the fame he got from his series. Spending most of the year traveling to conventions as a guest, while only putting out 2 or 3 episodes a year of what made him famous, and then starting a Patreon so he'll keep doing his job like he should have been doing.

Wasn't like what you were told in a good way or a bad way? And that's true about elves in the game. In Dao they pretty much cheaped out on designing character models. Dwarves had down scaled bodies, Qunari were literally the human body model just scaled up they didn't even have horns in the first game, elves were the same body model as well, their limbs stretched slightly. The second game improved on that but elves took a big hit, especially since by default some look green or even blue, I had to use a mod to change that. Even still most of the elves in that one looked weird. Merrill and that one elf lady in the prologue that you can choose to work for were some of the few good modeled ones. Honestly if given the choice I'd have romanced that elf lady over Merrill. As far as relationships in the game go, from what I remember male Hawke has the choice of a literal whore that was treated by Anders for an STD, and Merrill whose a much nicer and better person, but her writing can be so fking stupid, especially when it comes to blood magic and that demon. My first playthrough I ended up killing her entire clan because of her, fortunately I was able to reload and choose a different dialogue option. I don't remember if you can romance guard captain lady but even if I could, even with the mods to make her look better, I wouldn't. Fem Hawke's options I believe is Anders, brooding elf guy, and then that DLC priestly guy. Anders being the best option.

I'm really hoping I don't need to get this one pulled. I have very minor pain back there that much of the time I don't feel, it dropped a lot by this point, so I'm assuming (and hoping) that was just from it coming through the gums, and now that the top is exposed it should just grow in normally. Tomorrow I'll try calling the people in our HR to ask about my health insurance, cause I have heard that if handled by a dental surgeon then it's something your health insurance will cover. That said, I was looking around a bit online and I found one dental insurance provider that has a plan for around $30 a month that will cover up to $1000 in expenses, though it says that I'd have to keep the policy for a year before I can drop it, and it wouldn't take affect (assuming I got it today) until March 1st.

That was something a buddy of mine talked about when it came to food, I think he said something like he was eating drinkable soup for a couple of days. He had 2 on the top that needed to go, and 1 on the bottom, the guy that removed his told him that he was lucky that there was only 1 on the bottom since those ones are the worse and you swell up the most from.

I'm pretty sure there's enough room on my upper jaw. Now if it was my lower jaw we were talking about then I'd be fugged, cause i have no room behind my bottom back teeth. With my upper left side I'd say I have a fingers width of space between that back tooth and I can even go up a small amount. With the right side, that being where this tooth is coming in I'd say it's about the same width but because there is a tooth there I can't go up any like with the other side. I was talking to my step-dad about this and he mentioned there's one of those universities in a city North of us where you have people studying to be dentists that will do procedures, it being something that's on a first come first serve basis, but because of that it'll typically be free or dirt cheap, him saying I could follow through with them to get xrays done, and they'll then advise me on if it looks like it will come in safely, or if I will need to get it removed. I'll probably look into that this Monday. As far as coverage goes, if I do end up having to have it removed he said it'd likely depend on if I have it done by a standard dentist, or if I go to a dental surgeon to have it done. In which case my health insurance should be able to cover it.

Free is overrated when we can simply not have free health insurance under El Presidente DJ Trump

I'm pretty sure that it's only the one I have. I think I can feel the ones on the bottom in the back of my mouth and I think those ones are also pointed straight up and don't seem likely to be impacting others, them both under the gums. On my top left side I don't think I have a wisdom tooth there, I can stick my tongue behind that one with plenty of room to spare, and above that there doesn't feel like there's anything hard like a tooth. In February after I get my taxes back I think I might make a dentist appointment to get my shit checked out. If it turns out I will be needing the wisdom tooth removed I'll try to see if I can get it done during Spring back time since that'd be 5 days I'll be off in a row without needing to use any sick days or personal days.
-
I want to go to the dentist at some point, but I'm not looking forward to it since I haven't been there since like 2011 at best. Also I heard without insurance removing a wisdom tooth can cost over a grand.

After many years of hoping I don't get them, followed by me thinking that I lucked out, one of mine seems to be coming through now. It being in the top right corner. Was hoping someone with experience could tell me a thing or two, like if I will have to get it removed. I noticed it at some point this past month, and I do think it's actively coming through and not just poking through the gums. As far as I can tell I think it's growing straight down so I'm pretty sure it won't impact, but I am having some minor pain back there, which I'm assuming is due to it coming out of the gums. I'm really hoping I can just leave it, cause I dread the thought of having to go and get it removed. On the bright side it is one of the top wisdom teeth, and I have heard those are a lot easier in comparison to bottom ones and with less swelling. On the other hand though my health insurance doesn't cover dental. I do need to speak to one of my guys or someone down at our HR about that, cause even though dental isn't included Id want to find out if that includes getting wisdom teeth removed since that's a surgical procedure and not a typical dental related thing.

how do people drink like 4 cups of coffee a day
Distinct Lunatic replied to Naraku4656's topic in Free-For-All
It took me just about 26/27 years of my life before I finally started drinking coffee, it being a case where I had to keep forcing myself to drink it before I was finally able to put up with it. I'm sure there are types out there that are better, but I've only ever had that shit that comes in those red plastic containers with black tops. With that I have to mix creamer and sugar to make it bearable. And the only time I drink coffee is whenever I end up having to do the lead shift at my workplace, that starting at 5:30am, or throughout summer where we all come in at 7am -

It wasn't until this past Summer that I started drinking coffee, we were working in the morning during that time, that said though I had to mix at least 2 scoops of that powder creamer stuff and a considerable amount of sugar for me to be able to drink it. One thing about that though is if I tried having a second cup within 2 hours or so after the first it'd give me the shakes. With work normally I work afternoon - evenings, but Tuesday and Wednesday I had to come in at 5:30am to do the lead shift. I managed to get a cup of coffee from some of the ladies that were at work, but there was no sugar. I was able to pour milk into it though but all that really did was cool it down greatly, it still tasted like I was drinking water, but I was gulping that shit down, considering I got only 90 minutes of sleep the first day, and that was with 1 or 2 interruptions. The second day was easier cause I got at least 5 hours of sleep, but I tossed down that coffee in like a minute, I used chocolate milk for that one so it didn't taste like straight up water. -
I mean, growing up I'd say Pokemon was probably the first anime I watched, that or DBZ. I wasn't a degenerate back then but I guess you could say I had a thing for Misty, although when she was replaced with May I ended up liking May more. Back around 03-05 I followed along with the original FMA, but I still wasn't a degenerate so I had no waifus. It wasn't until 2006 when I was around 13 or 14 when Bleach started airing on TV that I started my journey into degenerativey. I immediately loved Rukia, that said though I still wouldn't say that I waifu'd her since I don't think I thought that much into things, I just wanted to see her and Ichigo get together and make lots of fucc. Momo was the character in Bleach that I greatly adored and felt the need to protect. So in conclusion I'd probably say that Momo was my first waifu. Technically I watched Naruto before Bleach, but that was before I got real into anime so wasn't on the path to being a degenerate yet. And when it came to Naruto, I don't think I got emotionally attached to any of the fem characters in it. I did like Tenten a fair amount though.
