  1. I thought the movie was pretty alright. From what I heard though the lead actor Emile Hirsch really took a big hit to his acting career with how poorly the movie was received. That reminds me of that Speed Racer cartoon they released around that time... I kind of liked that one at first, but it became so cheesy and stupid in no time at all.
  2. bonus points to anyone that gets the reference.
  3. WHY YOU GOT BAD TASTE MAN. It's basic common sense that something made in America is inherently better than the original.
  4. I do think the SG premise could work well, but given the track record Hollywood has... I'm assuming it will be something similar to the Death Note series in the sense that it will take place in an American setting with American characters. It could work but realistically it probably won't.
  5. Have you considered starting a Patreon? If the answers no, could you support my Patreon?
  6. You make sure to slap him next time you see him to remind him who's the top dog.
  7. Tell @Quackers to get off his lazy bum and fix it like the man of the house that he's meant to be.
  8. Everyone should take into account that lupin has the attention span of a millennial that watches Fortnite videos everyday and is unable to read anything that takes more than 3 seconds to finish.
  9. So what you're saying is there's a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing among us...
  10. There's this one guy I used to work with for several months before he eventually went to a different building, the guy being a major, major, by the books Christian. Like, in the first conversation I had with the guy he came on strong with that stuff "The way I see it ___, is that some people call themselves Christian but say that they only believe in part of the bible, that's not the way I see it. Either you believe in the whole thing or you don't believe in it at all, and that's me. I believe in every last word of it." And I'm just thinking 'who the fuck are you again?'. Him being the type of person who lets the bible decide everything they believe in, and if it doesn't say anything about something then it doesn't exist or it shouldn't be supported. A famous line of his being "the bible says nothing of that" or that it says you should never do *insert whatever shit he's trying to make a point of*. Hell, I was once telling him a story about my sis who co-signed on a car with someone else and that person fucked her over, him going on with "that's the thing, you should never co-sign. Even if you were my son ___ I wouldn't do that for you" him then following up with "the bible even says that you should never co-sign" and I'm just like . . . . Also apparently he doesn't believe in ghosts, saying the bible says nothing of them, even though there's the holy spirit who used to be known as the holy ghost. Now that I laid down the groundwork on the kind of guy this person is; there was one time me, him, and two other guys of mine were sitting in our break room. This was around the time of that second new Jurassic World movie, and one of them made a comment about the movie. The religious guy was then all ". . . you know, I don't believe that dinosaurs ever existed." The other guy looking at him dumbfounded and said "You know they have fossils and stuff right?" to which Mr Christ responds with "Yeah, but that could be any animal." Him adding onto that with "Carbon dating? Who thinks up these things" followed by his famous line of "the bible says nothing about ____ (dinosaurs in this case)" and that the world is only 5000 years old. And as far as aliens goes he doesn't see how that could even be possible, bringing up the creation of the world being in only 7 days, and how the Earth is at the center of everything. Him also not believing in evolution at all, and again sees no way aliens could exist. When it comes to this guy, I don't think he's mentally there. He's like 66 and talked about how back in the day everyone was doing drugs (him included) and mentioned how he was always in huge orgies. So the way I see it, him being single (by choice apparently), and in his 60's, and a major, major hoarder, I see that as why he makes god and religion everything that defines him now.
  11. Is this actually in the show somewhere?
  12. I think Deku is alright, and don't mind him as an MC, but in the first season all the crying got very old very fast. Him crying after All Might's big moment of choosing him as a successor I think was alright and understandable, but throughout the rest of season 1 Deku practically pisses himself every time Bakugo rages at him, and when faced with any opposition.
  13. Froppy is best girl though, how can you not watch it for her?
  14. I finally got back into Fire Emblem Three Houses after putting it off for many months now. Each route of the game is roughly 50 hours of gameplay, and back when I got it I flew through the Black Eagle and Blue Lions route, and got a little under halfway through the Golden Deer route before I burnt myself out big time with the game. Finally got back into it and finished the GD house, now I just have to do the BE house again but go the other route at the halfway point. One thing I didn't like about doing the GD house, having played through the BL before it, aside from cutscenes and dialogue obviously being different, it did annoy me very much so that the grand majority of that route is identical to the Blue Lions one, the difference only really showed itself after you defeat Edelgard and then go after those who slither in the dark, that being something that's only mentioned happening in the epilogue for the last 2 routes. Also learning the origin behind crests and stuff, and dealing with Nemesis, and also talking to Rhea again made the route feel more complete than the other 2 I played. I really didn't like how things were handled with Edelgard and Dimitri in this route, especially Dimitri who just dies off screen somewhere. And then when you defeat Edel, it playing a cinematic of you finishing her off. I was really hoping there could be one route in this game where all three house leaders can survive.
  15. Mowing and tending to my lawn Changing the oil in my red pickup truck every 3000 miles or whenever I get bored. Standing on the side of the road with my boys drinking beer out of a cooler. Grilling steaks using a very clean and efficient fuel source.
  16. . . . . I just want to say that's just me shitposting and not a reflection on me as a person
  17. Going 80mph down a road in a school zone and giving zero fucks about the load thuds hitting your car. Blowing off your mother and staying home playing games and shit instead of taking her to her doctors appointment. Laughing at the white homeless veteran living in his own filth while driving past in your nice luxury car, eating a big mac and throwing the wrapper at him.
  18. we'll build a wall around the planet and make Mexico pay for it.
  19. Realistically I'd say there's likely aliens out there, intelligent life even. That said though probably nowhere close to us, and I find it unlikely that we've been visited by them, but who knows. One very real possibility is maybe at this specific moment in time there are no other intelligent lifeforms. The universe is well over 13 billion years old, and humans have existed for only around 100k-200k of that time, and even then it was less than a hundred years ago we've been able to go to space and really study the shit out there. So it simply could be a case where intelligent life out there was missed by a million years or so, or even a few 10k years. Hell, it's possible that there could be intelligent life on planets even 1000 light years around us (that essentially being our neighborhood in the galaxy) but it could just be a case where they need another hundred years before they're capable of hearing us and sending signals back.
  20. No, I mean the people that swim across the rio grande to face down the final boss el presidente Trump
  21. One dark and quiet night back when I was a small child I was lying in bed about to sleep when I felt the blankets behind me lift up, I looked over expecting to see my uncle but instead it was Jesus. I was deeply touched by the lords presence.
