Wiki says a lot of bull.

Tell me which BOOK printed in the 19th cenury supports this narrative.  I want title, author and copyright date.

Hint:  It never existed.

It exists. You just aren't literate enough to read it.

The definition never changed. The parameters of the definition never changed. The physical area that is being reclassified is being reclassified because it's average temperatures have reached and stayed within those defined parameters.

Picking your nose until your head caves in is not something you should be so proud of.

You’re arguing something that no one is arguing.  Wladimir Koppen starting defining climate regions dating back to 1884. There doesn’t have to be a specific book. Or wtf it is you’re looking for because even if it was found you would just claim something else.

So, some guy said it back then and didn't bother to write any of it down?

Let's put this another way, Mr. Genius...

Souhern Florida has had a few recent downturns in the temperature that led to crops being damaged by frost.  That of course, affects the average for those years.  Does that mean that Southern Florida is now a tundra?

you really are a sad little man.

arguing JUST to be arguing. the magatard boards must be slow.

When you engage me, you're part of the argument.  Don't engage when you don't want to be in it.

Warming temps lead to melting ice in the caps. When the ice in the north melts past a certain acceptable point in a given season, it lowers the temps in the ocean which in turn allows the arctic air to travel further north than it normally would and linger longer. This leads to frost and ice in areas that normally wouldn't have to worry about that sort of thing. Visualize it as a small egg being cracked open at the top of the planet and the yolk slowly coating downwards.

So, when Florida is not a tundra, nor is NYC tropical.

These are momentary blips in both cases, not at all what is commonplace.

Subtropical not tropical and the definition of subtropical was told to you 3 pages back. This wasn’t a momentary blip. This has been a decade’s long trend. Not a one off Florida frost.

wtf are you talking about?  I think the scientists that study this shit know a lot more about it than you do. No dumb thing you say will change what is true. NYC is a subtropical climate. It’s not my fault that you turned your brain into Swiss cheese working with cleaning chemicals and you can only see the word “tropical”. Ignoring that the word is “subtropical”. You remind me of the 2A dipshits who only focus on the the second part of the amendment ignoring completely the “well regulated militia” part in favor of the “right to bear arms shall not be infringed” part

This is the best part of this entire smooth brain discussion. It hinges entirely on not understanding the definition of "subtropical" and insisting it somehow means "tropical paradise."

When was the last time you saw an average that actually reflected what is commonplace?

"Not routinely"

New York:  Subfreezing temperatures lasting three to four months, routinely.

I live here and no they don’t. Not anymore. Not for a long time

Because "tropical paradise" is going to be next narrative in a few more years, even when people are still digging their cars out of snow drifts.  The climate alarmists never stop and when people catch onto them, they double down.

This is going to be my last post because it’s just stupid in stupid out at this point

here are the avg temps in Central Park pay attention to the last 10 years. The definition of subtropical, whether you like it or not is: average winter temperatures above 27 degrees and summer temperatures above 72 degrees

YOU MUST CLICK IMAGE TO SEE CLEARLY

I knew he would say that. That’s why I added “you must click the image” in caps because I knew he was going to say that.  He doesn’t understand how to open an image but he thinks he understands climate science better than the scientists

Dude, you're giving the rest of us boomers a bad name. If you can't follow simple instructions,  maybe it's time to see about getting a carer.
