imagine you're watching a cell phone video of an unattended, unmarked SUV with no plates that was left in reverse on a suburban-looking street with palm trees

the unmarked SUV slowly rolls backwards with its driver door ajar - the presumption being that the driver jumped out in a real hurry (shock and awe?)

after five seconds, you hear the dull thud, scraping of metal, and creaking of the hinge as the SUV's door makes contact and runs along the side of a parked car (taking out the car's side mirror in the process) over the course of six seconds after which the door hinge tries to snap back from its over-extension

at this point, the vehicle is about to reverse into the intersection with the main street as a man in a black t-shirt with a tactical vest frantically runs back to the SUV to jump in and slam the brake

as he drives the vehicle forward, you see him try fruitlessly to close the door - its overextension in the collision makes it impossible - and then the video ends as the driver parallel parks the SUV

I could be wrong, but I think the SUV was a Range Rover.  Hope it was a rental, cause you know the administration ain't gonna pay the bill to fix it - it will all be on the cosplay bounty hunter.

imagine if there were some sort of deal related to Iran's nuclear capabilities, let's call it a "nuclear deal"

and imagine if that nuclear deal would have prevented them from developing nuclear weapons while developing a direct diplomatic relationship and offering an opportunity to reintegrate with the world

and now envision that this nuclear deal would have been ten years old, but someone eight years ago decided to unilaterally revoke it because it was good rightwing politics

another thing, they said that after Iran’s strike on Israel their weapons stockpiles are depleted. So which is it? Is Iran weak and on life support or are they a threat w nuclear weapons? I don’t see how they could be both

their convenient excuse is presumably "they aren't in the majority and aren't the committee chairs" but we know why they'd cut out the opposition party and they probably would have done it had the Democrats had either majority

This sounds like the Iraqi Osiris reactor incident again, where the objective is to prevent them from having nuclear technology, period, but not to go beyond that.

In 1981 it was because Israel didn’t want to Saddam to have the bomb, and they feared any civilian nuclear enrichment would be covered for a bomb.  Same deal here.

Is it common for a country to allow their military and weapons be reduced to a joke, Their last strike, a year back or we was drones and now, reportedly they don’t have much to strike back with, all to pursue nuclear weapons?

They did, and could have it in a world run by rational thinking adults, like we had during the Obama administration. Once his deal got scrapped, it only made sense for them to not trust us anymore and think their best option was to ramp up enrichment and move towards developing a nuclear weapon as a deterrent to preserve their regime. Sadly, I believe they were probably getting pretty close to a nuke and there's a really good chance if they got one they would use it at some point on Israel. Thing is we'll never know what the state of their nuclear program really was because some numbskull screwed up the deal and our ability to verify anything.

Always stamping out experts and truth, always creating doubt and fear whenever and wherever possible... I know he only really did it to try and erase any and all accomplishments of President Obama that he could, cuz his racist little peen couldn't stand that he was actually loved and seen as having been very successful by an actual majority of Americans, but it's totally in line with his greater M.O. when you think about it.

Once the light of truth is extinguished, makes it easy for them to make up whatever reality they want. The seeds of this situation were planted long ago, and now the warmongering Netanyahu's just taking advantage of the whole situation. Trump's given him a blank check and he's to no surprise cashing it in now by maneuvering him into dropping these bombs. Violence always begets more violence though, and it's just a matter of time before we pay a price for this I believe. Even if we have them backed into the proverbial corner, I really doubt Iran is just going to fold. At some point, in some way, they'll be striking back cuz it's just human nature.
