First they arrest a democratic mayor (without filing any charges against him later on), a congresswoman (who they did file charges against), and now they treat a senator like this. Oh and then there's saying governor Newsom should be arrested for the crime of *gasp* being elected. This is just plain pathetic. The house speaker of course treating Padilla, the victim here, like he was somehow at fault saying he should maybe be censured. Sigh. And Noem is just flat out lying saying he didn't identify himself, when there's tape showing he very clearly did. There's just no bottom they won't sink to.

claxton chicken has a work program with 'guest workers' from haiti. i believe it's strictly those that came over because of the multiple weather beatings the island took over  the years (?) and those that came alone seeking asylum for the hoardes of gangs (?).

the plant has built 3-2 family homes, (they've been slowing the pace since 47 got back in), for these 'guest workers' from haiti. 

i wonder if they'll look for local labor in the extremely high unemployed sector we have. give them this housing and a ride to the plant?

They will lay hands on people who don't like to be touched and learn first hand what self-defense really means to someone actually feeling threatened and not play acting. They may also find out the hard way that all those memes MAGAts are fond of reposting about how they have all the guns/ammo/2A rights aren't exactly true and that stand your ground laws are there for literally anyone to claim.

Yeah, but in that same post he blamed Biden for 'open borders' and also claimed that all the bad guys crossing over were the ones applying for those jobs in ag and hospitality. Currently from my observations, those that are willing to do that in these situations tend to enjoy a 3 on 1 ratio. The moment that ratio changes, retreating on their part starts to become the higher priority. 

 

And just for fun, today I learned that in chimpanzee society, if one chimp is caught hoarding more resources than they need, the other chimps in the troop will beat him to death publicly and eat his corpse in front of everyone.

 Where did you learn that? I don’t believe it. Chimpanzees might fight for resources but I don’t think they hold court or kill each other specifically because of resource hoarding 

a real fun fact about chimpanzees is that the prefer cooked food to raw and use tools to cook their food

the TL:DR (I haven't watched the video since the beginning of the semester, so it's not going to be 100% accurate)

-during WWII there was a shortage of workers. They passed a law that allowed people from Mexico to cross the border for work and then return, daily

-Sometime around in the 50's-60's they repealed this law and they don't come out and say it, but farmers were missing their cheap labor

-One guy hired a bunch of special needs people with the promise they would receive pay and be able to live on his farm, eventually retiring there. Their food and rent would be taken out of their checks (everyone can see where this is going, right?) 

-They shipped some to Atalissa, Iowa where they were supposedly treated well at first

-Eventually new people took over the house they were staying at, and it went downhill

-One finally retired and his sister found out he only had about $40-70 in savings, she called some people and the house was raided

-they were found basically living in filth. Everything was covered in mold, there was feces on the floor
