I played Super Metroid the other day and now I'm playing A Link To The Past. What more can I say about these games that hasn't already been said about them. Two of the greatest games of all time and certainly two of my all time favorite games. With that being said I have do have a minor complaint I want to make about both games because they both do the same annoying thing. Whenever get an item the game stops and a text appears telling you how to use said item. It have no problem with that if it's the first time I finding the item but every time I find the same item I've been using the entire game I have sit through a text explaining to me on how to use it, especially very late into the game. It's actually funny when you think about it. You're on your way to the final boss and pick up an item and you get an explanation on how to use it :confuse:

Imagine playing Super Mario. Bros and every time you get a Fire Flower the game stops to explain to you on how to use the Fire Flower. It doesn't matter that Bowser is a few steps away

I'm interested in reading this book called Caste that compares the caste system in India to Nazi Germany and racism in America. It is interesting to note that Martin Luther King Jr. went to India and was deeply influenced by his experience there. It's such a shame that these kind of correlations are considered niche and only are brought up at the college level, which is increasingly becoming less valued in this country.

"Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed." MLK Jr.

I don't think I've heard anyone in person that's ever called the NES the NES. People have always called the NES the Nintendo. Same thing with the SNES, I've never heard anyone call it the SNES in person it was called the Super Nintendo. Granted online I'll type NES and SNES because it's easier to type NES and SNES but in person I'll always say Nintendo and Super Nintendo.

It's because we lived the era. My son says SNES... I've even heard him pronounce "snes"...I can't recall him ever referencing the NES, but I'm pretty sure he wont say Nintendo

11 days until my vacation.

1 funeral to attend in between.

Plus moving all my shit to the basement because my gma (who's turning 94 tuesday) is moving in with us. Who keeps telling me she's going to die soon and she can feel it in her bones and it'll only be a few more months.

I need tires, but hopefully they'll get me to and from Florida.

...
