I honestly don't mind if Packard is a welfare queen, as a certain South African pedophile has made me hate the entire system, but I suppose that's not a topic for here. Well, a Packard thread can go in any direction, but still.

It's not money that sits in an account somewhere.  It's money that has to be paid to me in perpetuity.  If anybody wants to get rid of that expense, they would need to have me whacked.  They're hemorrhaging cash and can't do anything about it.

I tend to doubt that your pension could be described as a hemorrhage...even calling it a paper cut is probably a bit extreme.

All independently wealthy people ride busses, duh.

Not all... just those who really have no desire to drive.  A crash is always somebody else's liability.

The original is in English.  I used Ai to change the text to something the Swedish Chef would say, just for this board.

The Swedish Chef on what frickin' planet?

It's more like Wing-ding took a dump on the pretend Japanese script of a toddler.

I’m never getting on a bus with you ever.  Never know when a random homeless man with a kitchen knife decides to show up in a surprisingly nice pair of shoes.

I honestly can't imagine you ever using a public bus, at least not in America.

lol.  The light rail is coming to my town in like 10 years I think.  I’ll have to dress up in my tux while glide smuggle through North Long Beach.

@ghostrek Hey pal, this guy right here should make you feel better about yourself. He can't drive despite being an able bodied white man, he has no ability to read the room, and he thinks he's a talented artist because he uses AI. You were a much better janitor than he was too.

Public busses scare the crap out of me. Too many independently wealthy guys riding in it because of “liabilities”

Well... when I'm a bus passenger,  it doesn't matter whether somebody hit the bus or the bus hit somebody.  I will be paid either way and be responsible for nothing.  All the liabilities have to hammered out between the bus company and whoever was driving the other vehicle.

So you ride busses for the chance to be injured in an accident for financial compensation? The rich get richer!

It's better than the alternative.

Drive my own car and end up paying for somebody else's shenanigans.

do you have a car?

The whole point of this particular conversation is that I don't own or want a car because I don't want any of the liabilities or obligations that go along with it.

So, I guess you didn't read the part that says I'm not the artist.  That's what I wrote here.

Because you can't, and it's the same reason you don't drive.

What makes that important?  Am I supposed to be like certain clowns in this board who never seem to be doing anything but bending with the wind and adopting the parroted narrative on everything?  That's not a person at all.

Name me three of those clowns.

The fact that he doesn’t own a car or clearly, a mirror, makes me think something isn’t adding up for an abundantly rich person who had enough money to last into the 2300s. Could…could he be fibbing?

Being rich is not the same thing as having a guaranteed income.  Learn the difference before you try to criticize me.  You just look stupid.

There is no such thing as a "guaranteed income."

You really gonna tell me that when you're abusing AI and shamelessly showing it here?
