The best open worlds had little to no random encounters and the newer stuff can break the immersion more than helping it.

It isn’t fun when the npcs seriously can never wipe their fucking ass without you.

pistachio is a very underrated flavor of ice cream/pudding.

Pistachio flavored anything is so overrated right now, especially Dubai chocolate. Stupid ass tik tok bullshit.

Don’t take it from me because I’m a classless idiot, but maybe don’t have your big topical humor break be “Madea from the Madea movies NOT featured in the Epstein Files.”

Wow. Yeah. Retarded pop culture thing that has nothing to do with babies being raped and eaten.

I don't like waffles or pancakes that much anymore. It's too sweet for me in the morning. I think of it more as a dessert now, and I'd rather have something like pie or cake for dessert.

Even without syrup?

Kinda removes the point, no? I just prefer crepes with fruit and cream or dosas with chutneys.

Getting mad at someone else for cheating is performative bitch made shit. Your boy’s fucking behind Amber’s back that’s between him and Amber you’re not a quarterback leave the Applebee’s.

I can't really say I agree or disagree with this statement. Both god-tier games.

Indeed.  My choice is very much nostalgia-tinged because it was the first RPG I really "got."  It's VERY simple, but it was the one that helped me understand JRPGs and the rest is history.  FF6 is still one of the all-time greats.

FFIV is the first RPG I ever played. :LithiumSmiley:

I’d played the first final fantasy, and the dragon warrior (quest) games, but they didn’t grab me like IV.

Sigh, since yall wont shut up, here's my long ass, no one asked me take. FF6 is indeed the better game on almost every front, but nothing will replace FF4 for core memories.

Having played the original and dragon warrior/quest, I knew i liked the whole RPG thing, but they were super generic....so i assumed all RPGs would be this way. I had also put my hands on hydelyde...which sucked the majorest of ass.

Then one day, after the advent of the SNES, i saw that bright red box at the video store. I saw the game in either NP, EGM or GP but didn't really expect our country little video store to get it... Assumed I'd have to get it from my friend Nicky like i did the others....but he dedicated himself to Sega in the 16 bit wars, so the rental gods smiled upon me.

The way the story unfolds, the fact that you are obviously the bad guy...but have regrets... the characters all having their own lives and personalities...the enemies having their own lives and personalities. The somber feeling of death...not just this dude lost all his hp and i need an inn....the finality of Tellah, his sacrifice....the fact you lose Yang just to find him living with fairies like 20 hours later, rydias growth, Cid being virtually unbreakable....Kain, betraying you so many times, going to the fkn moon...just everything about this made me think best game ever....FF6, while great... didn't do that.

That soundtrack....At the time, only Actraiser had blown me away the way the FF4 did. Every track seems so deliberate. I would just sit at a boss for 30 minutes listening to the track loop

It also comes with one of my shittiest memories. I got it on a Friday after school, so by Saturday i was locked in.  I was supposed to mow grass while my mom was at work....but dude, its "FF2"...i cant stop, i must make it to the end.... somehow.

My mom came in that night and said "you didnt mow the grass" and I somehow thought she'd understand "this is FF2, i have to finish this before Monday" and then she says "if you had just mowed the damn grass, i would have bought it for you" so now I'm like I'll do it tomorrow, but of course its too late now.

She's likely 100% full of shit....but I'll never know... I'll never know.

I finally got my own for like Christmas or my birthday or something but i kept that rental until like Wednesday before my mom realized i was quietly "forgetting" to put it next to her work stuff in the morning

I like Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog way more than I like the Sonic SatAM. Objectively the Saturday morning cartoon is the better show but Adventures just makes me laugh with how riduculous it is and I'm always going to favor that show that can me laugh consistently.

The oldest Golden Girl is meant to be the funniest but she’s kind of like a human puppet. I want to imagine someone giving her amphetamines on set and she starts freaking out and scaring the cast.

Luigi was always more entertaining than Mario.

A really good example of this is if go back and watch the live segments of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show Danny Wells who played Luigi carried the whole show was more memorable than Mario who just meh.

I don't feel sorry for men who's women reject them after they propose to them in public. Putting a woman on the stop like that in public is such a dick move and if she says no that's not on her that's you for making a public spectacle of this and you deserve to get your feelings hurt. It's like these are watching too many movies or tv shows or something. If you're going to take an L take in private.

Disney's the black cauldron was a half assed adaptation of a great children's fantasy series. (Chronicles of prydain) If you remember it fondly, it's nostalgia goggles doing their thing.

Red Dead doesn’t need a film or series. Part of the first Redemption’s charm was emulating literal hundreds of films that have existed since the 60s.

And if Rockstar ever caves in, they can do much better than Jack Black or no-name Walking Dead asshole guy...

Is that why you don't like anime? I don't blame you.

Iet me add that the dumbest thing you can do as a fan is to listen to other fans.

I told you not to use Chinese lacquer on the judas chair. Now it looks like it belongs listed on Temu. 🤬
