Same here, very cool to unexpectedly see Kana back let alone in that role. You know, it's funny, in the teaser during Toonami last week I never thought it was Kari voicing her, but here in the full trailer I felt the opposite. Like you said, it could be just the intonation, and the teasing lines, and it's someone else, but I felt like I was hearing her this time. Either way, she seems cool for the new girl that's clearly going to be the alluring, feisty, instigator, though seemingly in the potential girlfriend role this time, to pull in the new guy. It’s there to allow them to sidestep union rules, not to actually keep their identity secret. Thinking about it, the only time I can think of where a VA genuinely was trying to hide their identity was Brittany Karbowski when she did Newgrounds porn voice work back in 2020. Though, her voice is in so many shows you can’t help but immediately notice it’s her. Everyone else, you google the obviously fake name and the first result is usually the VAs actual name.
