It might not be a bad idea to re-watch the whole rest of the show sometime. I was trying to figure out if this is supposed to be a fantasy world or some specific point in history in the real world. We saw some samurai looking fighters, but the "ship" looked like a U-boat. But at the same time, the construction of the village in the background looked very preposterous, and there some very anime-y looking pirate girls lol.
