Made me think if that scene was inspired by this one.

Or the other way around I believe, since this scene was written in the late 80s

why did frank miller make selina a depressed fatty?

Did the same to Lana Lang.

Women are capable of not turning into blimps when they get old ya know?

it really is funny how absolutely nothing has changed since the 80's

I don't know about that.  A lot has changed.

we have better phones now and there's no malls, other than that we're still on the brink of nuclear war and we're still a capitalist nightmare world >_>

why did Kishimoto make Mitarashi Anko a depressed fatty?

in Anko's case with no more wars and fighting she got fat

but in Selina's case it's just....She Gave Up When Gotham Went Down the toilet after Batman's Retirement

you can't really justify Selina where as with Anko you can just say Peaceful Living made her soft

That is Selina?

Why the hell did Batman kiss her?!

a lot of Batman writers like to make them fuck

why he made her...and all the women, age so horribly is the real question

The cold war will totally do that to you

Also Selina probably never asked where's the beef...

Well I was about to say we are probably going to have another Cold War, except with China.  I don't know about the brink of nuclear war though.  Rights have advanced for people.  The issue is with lack of regulations, not capitalism itself.  Some companies are not only paying less than they should in taxes but actually getting taxes paid back to them.  I wouldn't want to go full the other direction either though since a socialized healthcare system would likely be horribly mismanaged by the government, like a lot of the things they are aleady in charge of.  You risk losing your rights and freedoms under socialism as well.
