They finally put sneeze guards up at my gas station.

We're still gonna get inevitably robbed in the coming weeks. 😩

most likely...

dont try to be a hero and just let them take everything.

There were around 50 young people in the gas station around midnight, none of them wearing protection or keeping distance. I was very tempted to take a picture and contact the news.

Shits going to be screwed like this till at the very least April 30th according to a pr statement from my city officials and theres only like 5 cases here so doing the math on a larger, and fed scale doesn't seem too hard..  Better get used to the shit for a while.

setting up a foundation of internet security with employees via G-Suite, etc. Yeah, my resume is very colorful since I had to work full time or multiple pt jobs while going to school.  I'm also an artist lol so you can imagine.

Lost one job as a bartender (for now), but they have me working some shifts in the kitchen.

My other job, also food service, is temporarily closed.

i thought food service was essential.

Unfortunately essential doesn't mean profitable

We were open for takeout for a hot second then the owners decided to close

small business everywhere are struggling.

It's a temporary close (as far as we can tell), but it was still heartbreaking to work the last open day, especially since everybody who works there is friendly and caring.
I miss inviting them to have drinks after our shifts.

Just got my call.

Store closed.

No vacation pay. No PPTO pay. No emergency quarantine pay.

That has happened to 3 barcades around me. One of which I applied to.

As I said before, under contract....But I'm a lot less optimistic about the future as is right now.  Still, not in a rush to start worrying....I've been getting some awesome sleep.
