It starts to taste really bad.

i.e. turkey tastes like how wet dog smells, ground beef tastes like rank garbage smells, etc.

I hope to never experience this obvious lifestyle fallacy.

That said, I was thinking of making vegan pasta tonight....Just because, no real reason.....I just like flexibility in my noms.

It is a good thing I never stopped eating meat.

Never reached a point where you couldn't afford meat?

Thankfully I haven't been that unfortunate. Close a few times but I seem to be very lucky.

I'm talking about turkey. It can't just be itself.

Turkey having an existential crisis

Probably part of some rich people cult shit.

Tried to find a still of when Shinobu loses his shit at the cult mansion where they were torturing demons in YYH. Unsuccessful.

You mean road kill or sponging off of other people to get free food?

I mean meat that would otherwise be thrown away, you know like what happens to most food in this country

Nabadger eating all the trash to save our world.  If it happens to have meat in it, that's not his fault.....He's still a staunch vegan.

What....? Are you having a stroke?

So, it's fine if it comes from the met industry as long as you find it in the trash.

Brains rotting from protein poisoning, right here

Wait....Are you actually making a bid for protein being bad?

I mean you can pretend to hate meat all you like, and we'll all get a good laugh and you'll chow down another dumpsterburger in tears......

But are you legit shooting this shot against protein......Because that, my dingy derelict, is fucking hilarious.

Do you have like some kind of agreement with a busboy to collect gristle off of plates in exchange for weed scraps in your pocket, or do you just hIde behind the trash compactor?

Well, there were a few times where I bought frozen crap when I was working overnights that SAID it contained meat, but I had my suspicions upon eating it.

I’ve only been eating meat on weekends lately, but I only get an unsettling taste from gamey pieces of meat.
This one place had Lomo Saltado that I used to order all the time, but when I got it recently, it ended up having an odd stew meat aftertaste to it.

Ooo I just looked up this dish and it looks good!  Steak is really hit or miss with me too.

Yeah, there’s a Peruvian place that does it the best, but I first had it at this one local chain that did it well. The latter is where I had the one that ended up tasting gamey  recently, but their tostones made up for it well.

I've been trying the same thing (the no meat during the week, not the Peruvian food), and it hasn't really changed my taste for meat.  But, I've been trying to wean myself off of beef for some time now, and it seems to have worked to an extent:  I don't really crave beef anymore, even with cutting back.

The major reason I'm not vegetarian is because of this tbh.  I just don't know enough recipes / want to expand my vegetarian meals beyond spaghetti plus vege sausages.

It's hard for me with the stuff I love/crave like a hamburger or bacon.
