My Hero Academia Episode #57 (319) Discussion

Yeah they didn't change their mind.  It's showing as the last show on the TiVo channel guide.  At least it's just 2:30 for me in the central time zone!  And the last two shows they announced were from Sentai and Aniplex.  That may possibly lend more credence to this theory of souring relations between Toonami and Funimation.  Speculate away!

yeah it sounds like Toonami's gonna have to rely on the others to hold up the block from now on...

if this wasn't a case of funimation and toonami hate each other  there would have been a change to the schedule much like with Jojo(I'd imagine more people complained this time and yet they stood their ground despite demarco saying hey if you don't like this and want to change then make your complaints and opinions known)

WTH! I don't follow the schdule and ratings like I used to, so this caught me by total surprise right now when I checked my cable guide. But they Moribitoed MHA! Seriously? I thought this show was the closest thing to mainstream the block had besides DB Super. Unbelievable. On the bright side, I guess I didn't miss the episode like I thought I did, but damn. Thank goodness I've got On Demand. A move like this seriously makes me think they're planning on deep sixing the whole block in the near future. Wouldn't be surpised now if it happens when DB Super is over.

I already called the block dying out within a month after Super is off the air =P

And now we're stuck with Gundam, Lupin, and Foodwars =(

The remaining 7 episodes are available, dubbed, legally, on three separate services you can use right now.  Also it's only seven episodes. You will live but it still doesn't answer how hte fuck they people in charge thought this would be a logical idea on how to fix MHA's viewership.  I am confident that this would never have happened if DeMarco didn't put MHA BEFORE Dragonball Super in the first FUCKIN place.
