Ric Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 From the poll, Diddy Kong Racing gets my vote. All solid choices though. I assume you are aware that Conker is like 80 bucks or so though? Banjo Kazooie is my favorite out of the Rare platformers if you haven't it already. Some other suggestions from me if you don't have them: Goemon's Great Adventure Mystical Ninja Ogre Battle 64 Space Station Silicon Valley 1 Quote
rpgamer Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Quest 64 had an ok story... sort of... it's maybe not a great game by many measures. But still one I remember fondly, through the lens of nostalgia. I think Bomberman 64 is the better of the two bomber-choices. Hero's ok, but I think 64 stayed true to the game's style. Quote
That_One_Guy Posted June 30, 2019 Author Posted June 30, 2019 Ended up getting Bomberman Hero. I thought that was all they had. Then on my way out I saw Diddy Kong Racing in a fucking display case up front. Fucking balls. Conker was my first choice tbh, but I'm pretty happy with what I got. Picked up wind waker too Quote
That_One_Guy Posted June 30, 2019 Author Posted June 30, 2019 K so wind waker doesn't work. Gotta say I'm decently pissed. I payed $50 for it. And this isn't the first time this has happened with this particular store. Incompetent fucks. Quote

Zenigundam Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Impossible to play games from that era. Modern games are far superior. Quote

And if they regularly sell damaged discs you should probably stop shopping there, or atleast look at the disc before you buy it. lolEven if it doesn't look dirty, cleaning it might help before going to return it. Actually nevermind, forgot we're talking a $50 game. I'd just return that shit if it's being finicky. Edited July 1, 2019 by Ric Quote

Tried cleaning it and even cleaning parts of the Gamecube. I'm returning this shit asap and getting a new copy elsewhere. I will have wind waker god damnit Quote

Distortedreasoning Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 windwaker was one of the best sellers on that system so there were plenty of copys to go around. $50 for that game and have it not working is something to be upset about. brand new should be like $90 bucks. https://www.pricecharting.com/game/gamecube/zelda-wind-waker bomber man heroes was good. awesome soundtrack to go along with its more linear platforming. good choice. conker was the best game from that list but all of those choices are great.
