Phillies
a little over 2 weeks. The "no fap" cult has it correct= orgasim causes desensitization of sexual experience, decreased energy levels in the body, and also many other chemical/hormonal changes in the body. Its only normal to have 1-2 orgasms per week max. Try not fapping for 2 weeks, you will feel like a new person, refreshed and vigorous.

Going without nutting over two weeks just makes you more aggressive with an aching dicc.

Phillies
That shit is completely placebo. Its a very logical and simple explanation. Think about it from all perspectives. Also not everyone's body chemistry is the same. So here is the argument the "no fappers have". First of all its not natural to achieve orgasim/sexual contact on a regular basis. In the winder time leaves fall off trees, thus the cycle of nature. Animals go into dormant/hibernating states for months at at time. Surely are ancestors (paleo caveman) weren't chasing pussy around the jungle all year- long periods of sexual abstainment would be common. So why then would excessive fapping cause depression? Probably because it releases pleasure neurotransmitters like any drug. Also the mission of a human is to fulfill its biological functions- avoid death, find good, reproduce. After reproduction energy levels become lower as the animal has achieved its function. Excess of this taxes the nervous system.

Phillies
Peer-reviewed studies or GTFO. Excluding the no fappers, science has somewhat proven digital media effects brain waves.- There are plenty of legit though not conclusive studies out there. Obviously pornography addiction/sex addiction could be real (though lesser) issuers from some. So the connection is there. As for the direct evidence there was one study called the Purvis Paper, in which Rams testosterone levels were measured before and after sexual intercourse. After sex the Rams had less testosterone (as well as various hormone levels in different social situations) So the no fappers have citied this as a possible motivation for their case. After reproduction energy levels become lower as the animal has achieved its function. Excess of this taxes the nervous system. Again, it's all placebo. None of this has been verified via clinical studies. The only thing that was somewhat conclusive was a rise in testosterone levels seven days of abstaining from ejaculation. That's it. Everything else is speculative.

Still its interesting^ Add in all the anecdotal evidence about people claiming to feel better when they abstain and it makes sense. And I don't advocate excessively long periods of abstinence, just view fapping/sex as any other endeavor in life. You only drink/party on the weekends, the work week is for responsibilities. :|So it makes sense to add this as that past time. :|

How often were you normally fapping as compared to when you took a month off? I noticed 2x per week works for me. When I fap everyday I notice loss of pleasure/also clearly lack of energy. Here is something I thought of to support my theory: Would you fapp early in the day? No.. why? because for the rest of the day you would have slightly less libido. Libido= energy + motivation. Does anyone fapp first thing in the morning? no. So you go through the week with a high libido, however that doesn't mean its necessary to satisfy this libido, because when it is satisfied, you fall asleep. Therefore having high libido is necessarily to succeed in life.
