im always like "WHAT ? WHAT ? U gotta speak up  I CANT HEAR THAT WELL"

but i realized that at my Life Insurance job everyone speaks clearly. i think because they got phone jobs they know how to speak clearly all the time...

i remember one girl talking to me at min. wage job and i just sat there and nodded. got sick of telling her to speak the fuck up. i was gonna tell her we hiring at the good paying job but she dont know how to talk

they're mumbling because their soul is probably being crushed at that job

haha! another symptom of hating their job i guess

they probably cant get good jobs because they suck at interviews and the interviewer cant fucking hear what the fuck they are saying

the smelly guy is the worst at this and he kind of talks like that weird satantic guy who does all those fake news bystander interviews

yeah, that's not very encouraging when you hear about heavy turnover

yah i cant blame them. its hurts standing for 3 to 4 hours straight with no breaks

I know all about that, used to work in a grocery store, between the standing and reaching for items to move along the scanner, my neck and feet were dead after every shift:ph34r:

you're supposed to get breaks but when the store got busy *womp womp*

smelly mumbler showed me his smelly crumbled up paper of the breaks your supposed to get and it read ONE break for a 6 hour shift. its not right. i get breaks every two hours at the good paying job and im sitting down the whole time LOL

occasionally i'll walk outside for like 5 minutes to get some fresh air, but i go with some other people from the team so i don't feel like the only slacker. otherwise i only really get up to go to the bathroom or when we go down for the gym

my coworkers put up with my shit so you guys don't. there's a ton of garbage that talking to them about gets filtered and doesn't get posted here

had this conversation again today. we're now on the consensus that the Penguin would be an 80's Gordon Gecko autocrat

The whole Batman as a libertarian pissed me off. He obviously is in love authority and laws...so much that he doesn't kill criminals...he leaves them where the police can find them and trusts that much in the justice system to believe the AUTHORITIES are the best people to deal with them.

A libertarian wouldn't allow people to get hurt...but they definitely wouldn't rely on rules to suss out all the justice. The joker is actually more a libertarian than Batman...maybe

no way the joker is a libertarian. if anything, probably anarchist. catwoman on the other hand (in my pants >_>) maybe

Laws alone don't stop shitty companies from doing shitty things.

Also, loopholes.

My company doesn't even allow us hourly workers to work more than 60 hours a week because it's against the law in the state of California. In fact I think the company policy caps at 55 hours a week. Recently a coworker came in to work when we've been having a lot of mandatory overtime and voluntary overtime because we've been very busy, and they sent her home before start of shift because she took on too much overtime to work any more that week.

Though I guess it's a lot easier to prove you've worked more than 60 hours a week because of being clocked in than to prove you've been denied your breaks.
