Any plug can do that 🙄 yawn

Who is really being silly now come on

the only few good reasons for not doing gas is either A: electricity is cheaper than gas in your area or B: you have small children and don't want the possibility of them playing around an open flame. it's easier to cook using gas, food cooks more evenly, and you can use your stove when the power is out. if there's really a gas leak you have bigger problems than your stove.

I love glass tops for cleanliness reasons. but Frigidaire is such garbage and apparently their style is still 2002.

Yah my mom doesn't like to get really top notch stuff for some reason. I hate the fridge and washing machine she got, too but trust if i decide to use the house after she passes..all her 2nd rate stuff is gone. I basically body blocked her path to the same stove she had before.

I lived in a house with a glasstop for 10 years, and while I like it... even using the 1973 gas range with issues where I live now cooks better.

And new ranges are safer than you can imagine. There's this thing called millivolts which is created by the heat of a flame... if a digital control dos not recognize millivolts, it shuts the gas off.

I love cooking with the gas stove at work, liked my old iron burner (?) stove, and hate my fucking glass flattop

Trust me...this is a huge upgrade. Our old friend stove most aisles were broke...u had to do an obscure african dial dance to even get them to burn, then the oven heat element went out. It was time. After putting up with that and managing to still make great meals we will be fine with this.
