Hey don't hate on Switch just because of Zeni

Oh no. I added that to keep his ass off my thread. I have nothing against the Switch. It’s just not for me. I’m thinking about getting my son one for Christmas. I’m just not a Nintendo fan anymore.

I lost my usual memory card between moves, but thankfully I still have a backup one. I do miss memory cards a lot.

Right? It was so simple, and easy to use. Fill one up? Change it out with another one. No waiting for things to download. No having to delete an entire game in order to add a new game. The older systems were game consoles. These new ones are computers first, gaming console second.

What's wrong bro mad because all the Switch players are picking up the hot biddies at the mall and scoffing at your Atari era video game system

Nothing wrong here. I’m married. I don’t need “hot biddies at the mall.”

I have what is called, a REAL woman. Tangible. Not a delusional reality. Not an Illusion. A REAL woman. Like, if I want to reach out and grab a boob, it’s right there. I don’t have to turn on a porn channel and grab my rancid sock. REAL.

Far as Atari goes, dude, you weren’t even a nut in your mom’s ass when real games and real gamers were tearing up the scene. What you call retro, I call nostalgia. Arcades in every mall. An arcade game and a pinball machine in gas stations. Pool halls. Discos. REAL fun. If you wanted social interaction, you got off your ass and had social interaction. Yeah. I’m older than the internet. Unlike the kid girls you chase. Life was better in many regards, back then. I don’t expect someone like you to understand that. You are the typical fat, basement dweller that has become a popular stereotype.

Sidenote; when you have man titties and are 5’6” tall, you’re not alpha. You’re a lonely, HUSKY boy. 🐶🐼🦊🦁🐼🐔🐼🐦🐨🐤🐨🐽🐒🐣🦉🐽🐤

Disco like Eternal Darkness on Game Cube.

I was also a fan on N64. Had a blast with that machine.

I love that game but seriously it can eat a dick

I'll never forget being in 10th grade and playing it at 2 am and my character's sanity was getting low and her body just snapped in half and then I was walking on the ceiling

seriously thought I was having a stroke or something for a few seconds

That was a very good game. Didn't really scare me THAT much though. Nah RE Zero, now that had me scared to pop the disc in sometimes. I only got ED because Game Informer gave it a really high score. Well made my mom buy it anyway. I was spoiled had 40+ games for the Cube, PS2, Xbox, and GBA each.

Haha! I remember the dude at GameStop telling us that the game will fuck with you like that. He said the GameCube will restart and lose the picture and all sorts of shit, but it’s just part of the game. I remember thinking wtf kind of wizardry is this? Ha! Disco got a kick out of it. We got the game because we asked for the scariest game they had. I don’t think I’d call it a scary game though. Entertaining, but not very scary.

  1. Stable online multiplayer with little/no lag spikes
  2. Free games every month
  3. Free TV, movie, and game content every month
  4. It works on higher band wireless networks (wireless N and N+ networks for faster speed)
  5. Built-in Ethernet (meaning, it can manually plug in, as well) without adapters
  6. MORE games
  7. Fantastic third-party developer support
  8. Focus on games, rather than other BS, like gimmick controllers (I.e. Wii, Wii U, Switch)
  9. Built-in streaming services for all platforms, not just one.
  10. Works with damn near any Bluetooth mouse, keyboard, or headset. Or USB ones, as well.

Those are just excuses. I asked you to explain.

That’s messed up. Funny. But messed up. 🤣

I mean it's just that controller I think that gets me I tried to get into X Box again during the 360 days, and I just ended up selling the console.  I just looked at the x box one controllers.. they arent any better.

At least from what I heard X- box one has took the lead in the pixel challenge..(better graphics)

Still until they do something about that controller..

Have you seen the new Vantage controller for ps4? It looks like an Xbox controller.

I was always a ps person. But the controller never felt right for me. When I got an Xbox, I finally found the controller that works for me. I lost my left index finger in a 4-wheeler accident a long time ago, and it was always hard to use the L1 and L2 buttons, and operate the sticks at the same time. With the left control stick being so near to the triggers on the Xbox controller, it’s a lot easier for me to use.

If it works.. It works, but come on man I'm never gonna give that controller a pass.

They could still make it a bit more ergonomic every time I pick one of those up I feel like I need a catchers mitt because they're so round.

I forked out $150 on the Xbox Elite controller. It has a nice grip on it, but it’s heavy as hell.

But I have to comment on the touchpad on the ps4 controller. That is a stupid feature in my opinion. I mean, I know it’s used as a menu button of sorts, but that could have easily been used by pressing another button. The actual touchpad itself is super sensitive if you try to type something. I just don’t care for that feature.

in function it works well though,  they made it that big to replace that old small square start button the ps3 controller had.

Everybody complained it was hard to get their fingers to it while in the middle of game play so they made it impossible to miss.

It does seem ridonkulous I get ya. I've gotten used to it though.

I really don’t play games all that much, lately. I bought the ps4 for disco a few years ago for Christmas, and then got the Xbox one, just so we wouldn’t have any limitations as far as new, cool games coming out. We could get the ps4 exclusives and the Xbox one exclusives. Disco will not play the Xbox because of the controller. But in all honesty, I’d rather watch her play, than actually play myself. She likes to play the survival horror games. I love to watch them, but my anxiety won’t let me play the scary games.

Oh I lied the start button was triangle play symbol.. and yeah it was awkward to press sometimes I guess.

The select button was the rectangle...not square..whatever I'm tired as fuck.

I never used select. Same as NES. Never used select on it either.

I don't agree with your Switch sucks platform, but I do agree with your Shut up, Zeni platform.

Personally, I went with PS4. But you should look into exclusives and see which has more that appeals to you.

We have a ps4 and an Xbox one. I just like to get other people’s takes on the systems. So far, more folks like ps4 than they do Xbox.

Plus isn't free. If you stop paying for plus you can't play those games. They aren't free.

True, in that sense. It holds true for a lot of Xbox games, too. Any before the Microsoft backtrack a couple years ago are in the same boat. Games for Gold after that point changed a little.....still need a to pay for Gold.

But......you get a free license to the game. You play it and OWN it for free. So yes, free.

I never said the GWG games are free either. But atleast you can continue to play them after you stop paying currently.
