1938 Packard Posted August 24, 2018 Posted August 24, 2018 Ruby doobie doo... not jack ruby or any old rube. Not Rube goldberg, either. Just two loose rubies, sent away to a New York jewelry designer. They will become ear rings. Why not? It's not like the rubies had cost me anything. They were gifts. So, enhance the value by putting them to use.

Ginguy Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 Those aren't conflict stones are they? I mean, they have GIA/EGL certs?

I don't think they had been certified by anyone. But to be practical, the jewelry designer has access to people who could evaluate them. Authenticity, etc.

The laser etching on the Stone can be lasered off or cut off. In all honesty, it's more than likely most diamonds could be considered conflict stones in some sort of capacity. Killjoy was the one I think that told me all about Stone. 1

Who gave them to you, I mean, the stones could be worth anywhere from $300-$3000, who just randomly tossed those around...

I wonder if it is a criminal offense to traffic in conflict stones?

When someone owns a lot of properties, money becomes stuff to toss around like cigars. The designer said he would do the work just for the cost of the silver.

cyberbully Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 All I'm getting fro this is Maria in housekeeping gave you some "rubies" she found in a room that a guest left in exchange for you not calling ICE on her, but you likely did anyway. 3
