Yeah yeah, I know it's a crappy fighter. But it's the last one I played cause I don't really play them anymore. The person who owned it was hitting a wall at the character before her, and fighting her Just brought back memories of Geese in Capcom vs. SNK. Geese would make me so angry sometimes...

Asuka and Xiaoyu have been my favorites for a while, though I've been using Master Raven more in Tekken 7 and have been getting a good feel for her playstyle.

Haven't tinkered with the newer 3rd party selections, but Noctis looks like a fun addition. Hopefully they add in Kazuma Kiryu or Lei in future updates.

Nope. Geese Howard is the best.

But I gotta wonder... did they give him his gloriously bad Engrish voice lines from Fatal Fury/King of Fighters? If they didn't, that kinda ruins him. >_>

FUCK YEAH...brother in arms

Somehow, I have all the achievements in Tekken 7. I am not good at fighters. I do love all the NJPW crossover stuff in this game though. King has a totally different....shit, rage art, is that it? Well it's different if you equip the Kazuchika Okada gear. Lars just got Hiroshi Tanahashi stuff and I noticed music changed to Tanahashi's music when I went for his finisher in a match. It was neat. So far there's Chaos/Okada stuff, Tanahashi stuff, HUD stuff for Ryuske Taguchi, and a ton of Bullet Club gear. Nothing for Los Ingobernobles de Japon or Suzuki-gun, the other 2 big factions in NJPW.

Pffft. I'll take Law, Leo, and Hwoarang

Back in Tekken 2, Law was my go-to along with Lei. Dude did jump-flips like a boss, had that Bruce Lee energy going for him, and mowed through Arcade Mode like it was no one's business. Around Tekken 3 when his son took his place briefly, I think I went with Lei or Xiaoyu, but I switched back to Law around 4. Around 5, I still played Law, but a little infrequently now that I've got other mains I'm too heavily invested in to switch back.

5 was where all my Asuka/Xiaoyu skills came from, but I remember doing a lot of tourneys facing off with Hwoarang's, mostly because they were against friends I did Tae Kwon Do with, so they were all about mastering Hwoarang to live vicariously through his TKD skills. I was more partial with Baek Doo San as far as my TKD Tekken reps went, but I've had some fun with Hwoarang's playstyle, especially since I prefer his mechanics to the standard Mishima movelist.

I told Boo that people who know how to use slow characters are the worst people in the world. The best example for me is to imagine Taki unload with an unending stream of attack. That's how I like to fight.

King is full of counters to keep those feet on the ground.....And that's the last place you wanna be with King.....I fought against Boo before....She had a Pink King on T6.....She's a beast on Uncharted, but she wants none of this Tekken

That stupid BlazBlue game had a big slow fighter with a single frame punch that interrupted almost any combo. He was another I had to restructure my style for. Depending on what Armor King's counters are like would alter my play. But typically I go for chip damage like a chainsaw.

Iron Tager was cheap as fuck on the first 2 Blaze Blue games....They finally nerfed him, but not much.....I'm a Taokaka player on BB

I nailed that game with justice broad, same way I first nailed Soul Calibur with Xianghua. They put Ryu in every fighting game. Until I developed Taki skills Xianghua felt like cheating. Not as much as Kilik, but being able to continuously string combos at good range was unfulfilling. I like to get right in the muck of it.
