Satou Kazuma Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Bought a used copy of Disgaea 5 from GameStop online because none for the stores around me have it and it looks like crap. Multiple minor scratches on the front of the disc when I first laid eyes on it. Confirmed it when I held it against the light that it's in bad condition. Motherfucker's don't deserve to play if they don't know how to take care of little things like this. Now I'll have to send this game back because it's crap.

Some games I have just for the sheer thrill of destroying them....
Ric Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 People do what they want with their stuff. Some would say you don't deserve to play because you'll support Gamestop over the developers to save a bit money buying used.

Chapinator_X Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 I'm fucking astounded when I see the impenetrable PS3/PS4 discs that are used or rented only to find that someone managed to put a gash in it. It's not as bad as a PS2 disc gash, of course, but it just amazes me how much someone has to fuck up to put a scratch on those Blurays. 1
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 *blows into NES cartridge* >_> Anyway, from first hand experience, I'm sure a common way CD games/DVDs/Blu-rays get scratched to hell is because of babies and toddlers fucking around with them.

TrigunBebop Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 (edited) I refuse to buy used games online anymore. Nearly everytime I did, I always got a disc that looked like someone took sandpaper or a brillo pad to it. Edited March 1, 2018 by TrigunBebop
Zenigundam Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 If I were Gamestop, I'd have to question whether the scratches came from the previous owner or from you. My guess is that you accidentally lifted up your console while the disc was inside and caused it to get scratched up.
lupin_bebop Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Yeah. I can't stand that, either. It bothers me.
