Couches

Other than those couches pictured giving me horrible flashbacks :D , there is nothing wrong with window shopping furniture. Just because you don't have the space doesn't mean you can't dream. :)

I look at 'book porn' shelves and libraries even though I don't have the space to do any of that. But one day...

Oh man, libraries. <3 I grew up with a library in our house and loved it.

I have ~21 shelves, 3 regular trunks, 2 jumbo trunks, and numerous boxes of books here so my place is a library. :D Unfortunately I rent so I can't get the kinds of book cases I would like and have them be mounted properly to the walls to keep from potential tipping [especially with a curious height-loving kitty] .

But one day... :D

Absolutely. I like velvet/velour couches, and the dehydrated piss yellow color is really attractive to me.

My parents had a similar couch that sat in a barn for years when I was a kid, and I’ve always wanted one.

Velvet/Velour doesn't wear well.  If you're looking for 70's style, try Naugahyde.  They killed so many for couches that Naugas went extinct.  Or just cover the couch with durafab.
