Shows you wish were on DVD, but aren't.

Miss a show? It was a good show. Or maybe it was a show that was fun to watch as a child or one you just wish to check out again.

Either way, you would love to relive the experience and see it again. Problem is you can't.

Watch and record it on TV? You could.....if it still came on.

Buy the DVD? You would have already pre-ordered it.....if it were actually a thing.

Download or stream it? You would already have it bookmarked or on the device....if the company that owns the rights to the content didn't have it taken down.

What shows (Or in rarer cases, movies) do you wish were on DVD?

That would be cool to watch again. When I was a kid watching it on Comedy Central, I always really liked the bits of the comedians on the couch, but never really liked the bits about Dr. Katz' actual life. If I could see the show again, maybe I would like the bits about Dr. Katz' life now.

They're on YouTube! And on audible there are new ones

A lot of anime shows I watch.

Come to think of it, as easy as most anime are to find, I would sell my soul for a Mon Collie Knights or Flint The Time Detective DVD.

Problem is, FOX Kids is being stingy with most of their Non-Marvel stuff. Only Bobby's World and The Tick have seen any releases since they last aired.

A bunch of cartoons I watched as a kid like Max Steel, The Magician, Sky Dancers, and Princess Tenko. As for live action: Prey(the show with Debra Messing), Masterminds(high school Die Hard), The Others(show), Big Wolf on Campus, First Wave, VR.5, and Roc.

All of the other weird shit I like is out on dvd, thankfully.

Most of the stuff I like has been released. However, I wouldn't mind a DVD release for Dexter Lab's second season (Even though it can easily be downloaded or streamed) since it's such an iconic piece of CN's history. I also hope that Warner gets the rest of Taz-Mania (Beyond season 1) out there because that's the only way it can be watched at all right now.

I have Max Steel VHS that I haven't watched yet. Just saw it in a record store and added it to the pile of dirt cheap tapes.

Bobby's World had a SUPER short run of being released on VHS. The Tick has been released, re-released, and re-re-released. It's easy to find. Bill Nye the Science Guy was impossible to find, too.

Megas XLR, for one.  I'd say Sym-Bionic Titan but I managed to import that from Australia.

I'm guessing part of the reason that Megas and Titan weren't released is because:

1) CN didn't find them to be financially viable enough to be able to sell in disk form since they barely showed them any support while they aired their short runs.

2) CN wrote them off and no longer has the rights to them.

However, the two shows are available on iTunes.

You know what else it wouldn't hurt to have on DVD? Eek The Cat!.

Only problem is that Disney actually owns that show and they are even stingier with their stuff than Fox.

I know Disney is stingy as fuck with their IPs. Even for work on them. They are stingy as fuck when paying and outsourcing, too.

Tripping the Rift is another show I wish I could find. Along with ReBoot. I miss those shows.

I totally forgot about Tripping the Rift(I didn't get into it because it was too much like Lexx), but ReBoot has been out on dvd for a while.

Tripping the Rift is on DVD (All 3 Seasons). I own them myself.

But they're a pain in the ass to find now.

O' Canada.

Really good stuff.

I haven't looked in years but I think the only place you can still find some of the material is the National Film Board of Canada archives.

Well, the shorts with the blue dog babysitter and the Pigbird short can be streamed online, but they're not easy to find.

And the show based off of the Bob's Birthday short is available on iTunes and Amazon streaming.
