Lost all respect for Cartoon Network

Isnt it funny how the older you get the shittier literally everything becomes? We're just the old farts who dont understand, now.

I'm in my mid  twenties and I find the shows after 2008 gotten really shitty

I remember watch June buggs on CN when it aired only in June

Yeah, most of what they air is crap, but I still watch Adventure Time and I think Clarence is a great show. It's been cancelled, but they will be airing new episodes through 2018. The final season of Regular Show was swell.

They air nothing but shit Teen Titans Go!

I remember the original Looney Tunes Tom and Jerry & the classics

Now it's horrible to even watch

agree'd

I don't get the new CEO's tactic of filling THE ENTIRE LINEUP with one show and only showing their other series as "Special marathon events" once a year S:

CN was best when they had their own original animations; Ed, Edd and Eddy, KND, Billy and Mandy. AT, RS Steven U and JLA are good, MM is alright, but never on. TTG isn't bad, but it is overplayed. That seems to be the trend however, one show pushed ad nauseum until they can find the next hit thing, instead of working on building a broad library of content.

I like some CN things and not so much others.  Yeah, there was a time when like the whole lineup was pretty awesome.  Now the whole lineup is usually like 3 shows over and over again.

But being a fan of cartoons, I still like a lot of stuff.  Adventure Time is one of my all time favorite shows, that's got - like one or two? seasons left I think.  Clarence and Steven Universe are okay.  I'm probably one of the few people on earth that likes Uncle Grandpa.  wow yeah, it's hard to think of more than just a few shows anymore on CN.

In fact, I would say Boomerang is becoming more of what CN should be than CN is.

They run really old classic stuff, cartoon cartoons phase stuff, post-cartoon cartoon stuff, and also new stuff from Teletoon and other places.  And those shows aren't spectacular, but they're decent background noise kinda.  They have stuff like Popeye and Bugs Bunny, but also Courage the Cowardly Dog, Eds, and stuff like that, and Fosters and other toons from the last couple decades or so.  And then shows like My Knight and Me and Bunnicula, that are newer, but not originals (licensed from other entities).

Kind of thinking about it, makes me wonder why people are even watching CN at all, when Boomerang seems to have so much more diverse programming.

I stopped giving a shit about Cartoon Network when they moved all the classic cartoons to Boomerang

Same. Those cartoons are just better than modern toons. CN started spending so much time pimping out the cartoon cartoons and replacing the old with the new. Can't blame them for post-millenium cartoons being inferior to the old goodies though. They're not the ones making them.

Thundarr the Barbarian remember that haha. Yeah, none of the cartoon channels is good because decent action-packed toons are few and far between nowadays. Instead you get the same try hard wannabe humorous junk they've been trying to throw at viewers for 15 years now. Codename Kids Next Door is trash. Teen Titans is trash. Foster's sucks. Gumball is wack as fck. Code Lyoko is garbage. All of your attempts at getting hip, fresh out of the bakery stuff has failed.

I've never given Uncle Grandpa a chance. I'll have to check out a few eps on-demand.

One other show I did not mention is that We Bare Bears (I think that's the name). I've watched

a handful of episodes and enjoyed it for what it was. Maybe because I like the main three voice

actors. That Ice Bear makes me laugh.

Get the fuck out of this thread

"grabs hydrochloric acid"

I also enjoyed Code Lyoko, like I didn't go out of my way to watch but if I found it on I'd always watch. I liked how different it was to all there other shows.

They just need to stop fucking shoving Teen Titans Go! down our throats.

Nobody likes that show.

Whoa watch your language there, Pokeman. If the Pokemon community saw you saying the f word on here, you'd be disowned from it forever. You're supposed to talk in language suitable for a TV-G content rating, just like your favorite television series Pokemen.

I find it funny that grown adults with jobs and responsibilities are lamenting the fact that the children's cartoons on Cartoon Network don't appeal to them.

Especially when most of their good stuff is on DVD and digital/streaming anyway, making cable TV shows more pointless nowadays.
