So the reason you think someone is doing this is because it didn't happen for 15 years? GTFO with that shit. It is nearly impossible to insert a nail into a tire. Steel belts mean that the nail has to be basically "hit" hundreds of times by the road before it can actually puncture. If someone tried to nail the sidewall, the flat would be a catastrophic one. If someone were trying to nail your tire, all they could really do is throw a box of nails out behind your tires and have you drive over it several times. The culprit is most likely an area you drive in where there is construction.

Almost forgot, for fun at the beaches, your best bet is Bolsa Chica State Beach. It's in between Huntington and Seal Beaches and its one of the last places that still have fire pits. If low rent amusement parks is your thing, Knotts Berry Farm is still a great deal and its about five miles due west of Disney.

Well, let's see..... Pomona isn't that far out. You're right near Raging Waters, so you can take your board-short, beer-gut self to the water park to hit on pre teens. The county golf course, Mountain Meadows, overlooks the fairgrounds and the Speedway and offers great views of the Pomona Valley. There's a botanical garden, Rancho Santa Ana nearby, but that seems too pussy for you. If you like hiking, you're about 15-20 minutes from the hiking trails at Mt Baldy. If you like a hipsterish bar scene, I recommend my favorite hangout about a half hour down the CA-57, old town Fullerton. In particular, there's Hopscotch Tavern overlooking the Fullerton train station that has a full selection of whiskey and beer. I hang out there whenever I can. Disney is another 5-10 minutes down the CA-57 if you like paying a lot to be in a cattle call or you actually are a reeeeeeally die hard Disney fan. Nearby in downtown Anaheim, there's the Anaheim Packing District. Another 15-20 minutes from there (let's say an hour from Pomona) there's Old Town Orange and some great bars (Chapman east of the "Orange Crush" freeway interchange. Hit me up for specifics.
