  1. He just gets scummier every time he comes up. How that mother fucker got to be in where he is in the service is beyond me.
  2. Good question. Why do you have to flatiron your hair? I mean the decision is entirely yours since its your hair.
  3. No, I don't believe that was they were trying to convey. It seems more likely that they intent was to suggest that there was a thriving under society that would be ready to supplant the one that was disintegrating.
  4. I can't say that I did, no. But that's not unusual for dystopian dramas. It plays into the larger motif of failed prophesies.
  5. Mayor. Of Cincinnati (back when the mayor rotated amongst the council members.)
  6. Shut up, bitch. I Lol'd.
  7. It's actually not an unusual style. It has its roots in British Colonialism.
  8. I would argue that anti-muslim sentiment was building years before that.
  9. I also liked it, but it was kind of confusing. Some of the social commentary is a bit heavy handed.
  10. Honestly, that sounds more like the job than just the hours. It appears as if the job is structured in a way that makes it difficult for you to connect with the people you are working with.
  11. Are you burnt out because of the hours or the work itself?
  12. And that makes sense to you? JK I know it does. Lol
  13. Remember that time you copped an attitude with the chick about strawberries in your shake?
  14. I'm surprised you would recall any of this.
  15. The first words out of your mouth would be "What do you expect, druggie?"
  16. She was while I was handling wood.
  17. Fuck you talking about?
  18. You know, Nabs complained about my likes too, that fucking ungrateful shit.
  19. Or Thunderbird. One of the memories from that first year was sneaking a fifth of SoCo into Memorial Stadium in my uniform. No idea why the upperclassman liked that shit, but I didn't really care. It was thrilling for a dumbass freshman kid.
  20. In all seriousness, sometimes a reset is good after a tough first week. Hanging out with the band kind of helped keep me from being too focused on all the shit that comes with first semester freshman stress. But, we didn't drink Pink Moscato - it was more like Southern Comfort.
  21. Frankly, I do not see the point of memorializing the day other than to recount the personal trauma of the event. It has little to no bearing on the larger social and political issues that plagued us before and after, and ultimately didn't change who we are, for better or worse.
  22. Can you rescind it?
  23. Are you actively trying to push people away?
