  1. They said it was going to be a shoot out, and it was.
  2. I know I’ve had him mentioned for something else, but I can’t remember what. Always a bad time when you see dudes near your age go.
  3. I don’t really know who to blame.
  4. World Cup is off to an auspicious start.
  5. More show than mention.
  6. You broke your penis in 1998?
  7. Right back to where we started.
  8. Oh? You finally got someone?
  9. You don’t have a chick, so no.
  10. You would laugh at your chick having an OnlyFans.
  11. That has nothing to do with Thursday and how awesome it is.
  12. Maybe he broke it in a Kardashian. Is that tragic or heroic? Maybe both?
  13. Every ten minutes I'm going between laugh and cry reacts, just because I legit do not know what to think about a broken penis.
  14. You and your fancy new orthodontics and shit. In my day, you got the wire and the rubber bands and.... wait, what did those rubber bands actually do?
  15. Snow games suck. You don't get good football in a snow game, just football in snow.
  16. Damn, you beat @tsar4to the punch, man.
  17. Ten years isn’t necessarily long enough to get over a lost significant others.
  18. Don’t ask.
  19. At some point, you have to kind of figure it might not be the coach or the players that that are the problem.
  20. Sure, bro.
  21. I don’t mess with yellow stones.
  22. Nice. We’re getting fresh blood in here.
  23. College football. Of course there is context… I work on the sidelines: I can justify missing a quarter because I’m actually doing something related to my work away from the stadium. So, perhaps it’s not as simple as I’m walking out of the stadium as much as I rearrange my workflow so that I “have” to miss the game. As to what it does…. I typically miss out on some of the injuries. Even when I’m at the game, I can usually keep myself busy so I’m not paying attention. I’ve been doing this work for about 20 years now, so it’s not like I got to this point with any intent, I’ve just come to the realization that I probably wouldn’t watch any of the game from the stands if I couldn’t make up something to do when it’s inconvenient.
  24. The only reason to boycott is for your own well being, and most of us probably won’t get that far. Still, it does make me think about how I cope with football. I suppose it’s one of the reasons I refuse to watch my team on tv and typically skip quarters while watching the game in person.
  25. Not to be a downer (well, actually maybe a little bit): saw this opinion piece on CNN. I'm not so disingenuous to suggest that people stop watching football when I still do (in person, at least), but each passing year brings more difficulties when getting enjoyment out of the game.
