Ok, here's something I have an issue with; I feel like there's an inherent goalpost-moving when it comes to the idea of atheists and beliefs. The atheist position is the nonbelief of a generally anthropomorphic being or beings whom both created and observe our planet and especially us; judging our every action with their all knowing eyes. That'd be your various Yawehs, Jehovas, Allahs, Zueases, An, Enlil, Ninhursag.... Yeah those guys all probably don't exist. I mean, I can't prove that they don't so I can't say for certain, but personally I'm on the disbelieving side of the equation. Then you have the "Well what about everything?" argument. "I mean, what if we're all part of this giant blob thing made of all reality, and that thing is god, man?" To which I reply, while taking the bong from you: "We are... man."

Looked it up; somebody with my same motherboard was asking about updating their BIOS for the CPU I'm looking at back in 2013. In response, he got a step-by-step guide on what to do. So this looks doable. I'm still terrified, but w/e.

God damnit. Spoke with a computer-literate individual yesterday, gave him my specs, he said the new one would work if I did the update. Now you're telling me I might not be able to that. You know, when the original JPOG came out in 2001, I was the most excited I had ever been- I had dreamed about creating my own Jurassic Park since I was five years old, and now it was in my hands. But when I installed it, all I saw was a white screen with some light green boxes on it. Turns out my video card did not work, and I was unable to play it. Now I'm having flashbacks and am incredibly sad.

It is literally impossible to prove something doesn't exist; that's why scientists don't run around trying to prove that there isn't a single tea cup floating in orbit halfway between the earth and the moon. If there were evidence of the floating tea cup, we'd say "Huh, looks like there's probably something similar to a floating tea cup up there..." then we would do more observations on the object until we were able to conclusively state that the teacup does likely exist. You can't do the opposite, it does not work.
