basically no. it just feels like it does. determinism is pretty difficult to refute. all actions in the physical world have physical causes, even thoughts. (which are just biochemical impulses) there is no outside agent that causes actions or thoughts to happen. if you think a thing, it is because the thought arose from your biological programming (genetics etc). here's a handy video with examples. (what's more interesting to me is, given that free will doesn't really exist, what the fuck do we do with personal accountability? if there is no real choice, how can you blame people for doing what they were essentially programmed to do?)
