Or record them so you have their voices. I've got a cousin who impersonates our late Grandfather really well, but his normal speaking voice sounds like Heath Ledger as the Joker.

Worked for about an hour. Watched a bunch of "Expedition Unknown" episodes - they're all about lost or hidden treasures. I think I have a pretty good idea (based on the clues) of the general area that one is in & the people who are looking in the episode are way off. Also watched the Cubs win.

Talk to them, and really listen. Ask them questions about their childhood, teen years, etc. Ask them about important events that happened during their lives, personally, nationally & globally. Ask them to write out memoirs. If you've an interest in genealogy, get them to write out family trees & rememberences so you have that information.

Yep. I used to walk past this place when it was a non-descript roller rink. I had no idea of its history. "Iron Butterfly, Poco & King Crimson" were supposed to play a 3 evening set of shows, but there was a fire after the first show & they cancelled the other two.

The Move morphed into ELO, bits of this incarnation of Savoy Brown became Foghat.

Not just those. The radio spots (e.g. - here's a bear vs a chihuahua...) were just as bad.

Their own fault. Their commercials were terrible & had very little to do with enticing people to go to their restaurants.

I liked Blimpie, the pastrami was pretty good. Haven't seen one since I left the U.P.
