Like Kapusta, it smells sooooo good cooking, but to me the taste is meh. Since I can't have onions anymore, the sausages and Kapusta are out. A whole lot of things are out.

My Dad did, and loved it...until he found out what it was. We never had it in the house when I was a kid.

But the thing that is called a "Polish" in a Hot Dog joint, ain't Polish Sausage. It's an overprocessed, bloated hot dog that may have some of the kielbasa spices. They don't even taste the same.

Grew up on Kielbasa, Kishka, Golubki, Kapusta, & Cauliflower Mushroom (including hunting through woods for the thing).

That ain't polish sausage, that's a "polish" - a glorified hot dog. This is polish sausage (fresh, unsmoked), and it won't fit on a bun -
