Been wondering about this - and so has NBC apparently. https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/blackhawks/how-blackhawks-are-trying-stay-positive-despite-postseason-high-12-iron-shots -

He "only sold flowers". But that's not the droid you're looking for, is it?

Would you like some tea? Or how about a few mystery seeds?

Sorry, they're already in an envelope addressed to the local USDA office. I missed the import code on the label, indicating they came from China via the Solomons. I find it hard to believe that this is all a "brushing scam", considering that all of the US & Canada have received stuff.

"Mystery Seeds" from the Solomon Islands! I feel so special! Ours look like Dill seed, but slightly different.

What would you change if you were in charge of the Olympics?

Depends on the future dystopia. Maybe it will go the "Max Frost" direction. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063808/

They didn't used to. The USIOC didn't allow paid pros in the Olympics. That's why the '84 "Miracle On Ice" was so cool. The USSR pretty much used the cream of the Russian Red Army team (being paid as 'soldiers') and the US fielded a bunch of (at the time) nobody kids who only hoped to play in the NHL. -

No booze in the house. No drink, no drunk.

Nope, nothing like that at all. The only place my gmail id appears is in the header, nowhere in the body. The receipt email is just a transaction email.

Already said I checked my accounts (nothing out of the ordinary) and I never use paypal. As for the username, I'd have no way of knowing if someone misspelled the one I use on gmail.

VAT tax. Probably because it was a Brit site?

I was kinda thinking the former. They sucker people in to either complaining they didn't order this (confirming live email) or clicking a bogus link or thinking, "hey, some schlub bought this & they think it's me...free service/whatever". I'm not taking whatever the bait is, but all of those possibilities seem rather weak for the email effort. I would think there'd be an obvious cash grab involved, but other than the $39.95 receipt ($48 something after taxes) that I haven't shucked out any bucks for, I don't see any means of getting someone's funds.
