Well, ghostrek's prose is . . . different. It reminds me of works translated from foreign languages. Certain nuances are lost in translation, and the translator has to work around that. In a sense, the translated work becomes an original piece by the translator. If I were to edit to ghostrek's work, I would think the same concept applies. ghostrek also said he has trouble reading paragraphs longer than three sentences, if I recall correctly. It makes me think the current screenplay-esque style of his fanfic is his way of working around that.
I'm probably putting too much thought into this, but I really have thought about editing his fanfics seriously.
