Why is it the 6th? 12 years of CCD - Epiphany was always the 5th. Even in my many years of being AWOL from the army of Christ, I've kept up, and it's always been the 5th. Why is it the 6th? At our house, we include The Mummy and The Mummy Returns in our Christmas movie viewing. Gold, Magi (granted, they bring gunpowder and dynamite instead of frankincense and myrrh to go with the gold, but it's the thought, after all...), a flight into Egypt, and the importance of family - they're truly iconic Christmas films.

I don't eat applesauce with meals. (My siblings and I generally eschew fruit with meat). I like it for dessert, or for a snack, especially with rice Krispies.
