Janice is well. She is still on the couch, but the old and poorly socialized cat has moved to the recliner, so she is now sharing it with the two younger cats, who let her have the remote, so she is quite pleased.

And people have to realize that it is about the long run - it's not about going on a diet or working out, it's about making maintainable life style changes. People don't realize what a difference water instead of soda and taking just a few extra steps can make. Yeah, you won't have that bikini body in time for summer, but in a few years, your knees will send you flowers.

Gotta be careful about burning them. There are cases on record of morbidly obese corpses causing grease fires resulting in fairly significant damage to crematoriums. In her book Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, Caitlin Doughty talks about having to cremate morbidly obese people first thing in the morning, before the oven gets too hot, to avoid this. (She has a YouTube channel called Ask a Mortician, but I don't know if she addresses it there.)
