I'm breaching old, but I don't think of fear as a bad thing. If I tried to invade a wolf pack I wouldn't do it like that grizzly man, I'd fucking act like an outsider wolf and if they give a shit about me hanging around they will. But of course I have the ability to influence their willingness to accomodate my presence. A male elephant in musk is terrifying, and if you aren't afraid of that you're stupid. Here's a thing, I don't want to go on carnival rides anymore because I no longer trust any corporation to maintain them properly. Maybe Disney but I give a shit about most Disney so there's that. Things like that I don't see much as a fear but a decision to avoid stupid risk. If I jump out of a plane with a parachute it's because the plane is going to crash or I somehow became a paratrooper in an insane turn of events. Speaking of, why don't commercial airlines have back hatches and parachutes as standard safety precautions? It can't be too expensive to prepare for and no one is going to give a shit about lost luggage when they survive.

Hah, I like these. I don't know what awaits me in death or life, but so far the life part has a slight bit of drudgery to it for not a lot of payoff for some lifestyles. There are plenty of things I want to see as soon as I work that corporate ladder and secure a livable wage to actually take the time to enjoy life. Like the tax breaks 2.5 kids gets you. I would love to get a flyover of places humans literally cant explore because doing so would kill us. I want to spend a week looking at the life surrounding those places. But I got this job and this car note and shit, and I wanna visit my family. But you have kids, and you get this extra vicarious thrill of watching new life that you can guide grow. I get a bit of this from my nieces and nephews, they're all amazing kids. And I have some biological attachment I get to experience, my niece went to a neighbor's house at a block party and when we couldn't find her I was looking for her like a terminator. As soon as we found her I told her very seriously to make sure she tells her parents where she's going when she's running around at a party. She was four but I knew she was smart enough to know why that's important. Kids have passed for me I think, I don't want to be some in shape 50 year old throwing the football with me 10 year old kid. I want to be an in shape 50 year old biking mountain trails and shit. Speaking of everyone is buying bikes right now and it's infuriating. I have been abusing myself for far to long, so I guess I'll buy weed and wait for the bike!

We had a wood burning stove at our house and I was barred from tending fires because I could get them going at 1500 degrees. My brother would be dying of heat stroke while it was 12 below outside, lol. So after the US collapses I'll man a forge.

My eyes are finally dying so one of them needs help. I don't have glasses because I am lazy. Hopefully I stop doing that soon. My other eye is good but focusing on things can strain my eyes now, yay. I wish humans still died at 40 so I could be retired now.

That is also an element of wildfires. The natural ones burn away the vegetation that is sapping resources for more fit plants. But sometimes it's a boy!

From science, wildfires are typically started by lightning or gender reveal parties. While they can be good for the woods and turn old dead plant matter into soot they arent too good for people living in the woods. Many trees are hardy enough to withstand brushfire easily, but when the fire gets big it gets really hot. So when the heat is turned way up everything is fuel. Fuel + oxygen + catalyst is fire.
