.... The universe of Cowboy Bebop is worse than ours solely by virtue of the fact that corruption and capitalism just expanded out into the rest of the solar system. So, it's like what we have now, only more of it. The universe of Ghost in the Shell is worse for similar reasons... Part of what was so depressing about our reality to me until recently was the degree to which people were willing to sit on the sidelines and not say or do anything about how fucked up so many things are; totally complicit in our self-extinction. All the protests around the world give me a lot of hope for the future. ^___^

Climate change is going to destroy that whole region. Their culture will dissipate as most of them turn into refugees and subsequent generations are forced to adopt the customs of the places they flee to. The rest will perish over time because they were to obtuse and stupid to leave an inhospitable wasteland. Making a new flag (or new anything, really) for any of the southern states is kind of a waste of time.

Wow, I thought they were running out of ideas for flavor content when they did dinosaurs meets Egypt... They should just stop and re-boot all the old sets with fixes and additions... There's enough content there for a few decades worth of releases.

Disc golf is loads of fun. I'm not very good, it's just a good time to get drunk and chase frisbees around with pals. You gotta record these things. Otherwise, it's generally better to let that victory make you glow from the inside... Approval seeking is a strategy with diminishing returns.
