Given I went to a public school in the middle of nowhere...(literally the school had like 10 acres of land, we had so much shit it was pointless) we didn’t have uniforms but the older I get the more I’m for it...to an extent I think it dissolves the “I have money I have better shit” mentality. And the concept of clique acceptance by appearance is removed, and is based solely on personality... plus I do feel that looking back, clothing diversity was a bit of a distraction...commenting on a skirt being too short, a shirt being too provocative, a shirt being borderline offensive...these are petty issues that could easily be fixed. I mean there are rules regarding attire but you know kids...they try to be edgy and cool while pushing boundaries.
as for funding, schools need all the fucking funding. I cannot express how pissed off some people in society piss me off over shit they should have fucking learned in school. How are you fucking 40 and not know how much change to give me without a calculator? How are the suggested tip percentages at the bottom of my receipt WRONG and how many people just went with it because they were too fucking stupid to figure it out?
the education system needs a revamp...and none of that common core shit either...we need to actively take part in the future of our economy and future leaders. We continue to fail children which only continues to add to the level of ignorance and sheeple that lead to trump being a fucking president.
sorry not fighting...just venting and agreeing
