You know, I think your name came up multiple times in old lists of users, when I'd try to see if I could find Twitter handles or whatever as a way to reconnect them to the community. For some names, it was easy to pull up relevant results. Yours was not one of them.

That is an extremely reasonable guess. I assume that software could have done more than they did with it (it was literally just one board/feed), but they definitely just wanted it gone. A subreddit is free, and you don't need to host off-topic discussion.

There is a UEMB server for Java Minecraft that's pretty well-populated. The info for that is in the UEMB discord, which is linked in the community folder, though @Sandstone should really make a direct thread in the games folder.

They unfortunately pulled the plug in 2016 without warning and there's no archive outside of what you can find on the way back machine. The positive is that we've been fairly consistent since setting up our own shop, rather than a consistent decline as they stopped caring and clearly wanted to drop the boards.

My grandmother was convinced you can't have platonic friends of the opposite sex unless it's like two couples that are friends.
