There are some cultures where it is rude to eat the last bite, because leaving your plate empty implies that you weren't fed enough and satisfied with your meal.

The first time I rode a bike at five years old, I crashed into a parked car because I was looking at my sister to my left who was trying to go faster than me, and my thumb must have gotten pinched because it ripped off basically the skin on the front of my thumb and the nail was so busted it fell off a few days later. I didn't touch the bike again for what felt like an eternity at the time.

So the tentative plan Friday night is to take a break from jackbox and get folks together to play Smash Bros on the Switch. If enough people are interested, we could do a casual lobby and a competitive lobby (lobbies can be set up to hold up to 8 people, with up to four people in a match). I believe we can set up lobbies with a passcode, so everyone doesn't need to scramble for friend codes. Anyways, if you are interested let us know here and we can use this thread to organize in the meantime and stuff.

I got to the level where they fight on the tree roots and then Pokemon sun/moon came out and I never went back yet. I had the double problem of starting the game in hard mode and an unwillingness to let any of my characters die, so it was quite a grind.

Question: if I have a Pokemon with an event move and I teach it a second charge attack, does the charge TM default to one over the other or do I get to pick which one it changes? My nearly perfect shiny Metagross did not need to burn 75 candy on a second steel move...

also with something like smash or RL, only so many people can play together. I think online SSB lobbies hold up to eight, and obviously only four people in a match at once (and with SSB we'd probably have to have one fun lobby and one boring tryhard lobby so people can play their preferred style). but i know there's people who play both games so trying to get everyone in those buckets to play together sounds fun.

those are all just examples of games we could play, the only things we've actually played thus far have been jackbox and golf it. if you want to try and round people up for a more competitive game, by all means. quackers wants to get people to do rocket league, and we'll probably try out SSB soon. problem is jackbox is the easiest thing to organize and getting people together is like herding cats.

I am locking this thread. If you still want to discuss this issue, you can start over and do it without the drama. Don't call people slurs, don't call them "mentally retarded" (which I will probably start treating equally like a slur in these folders). Don't make death threats or the like - you are sacrificing more than just the account you're using in the moment.
