When I said PTE "ruined" Orga's death, I didn't mean that it spoiled it, just that the meme videos like the one posted above made me find it more hilarious than sad. (Though the show's soap-opera delivery of his final moments was humorous enough in its own right.) The show actually does reference his death pose, but it's in the last episode and hidden in the background.

It's always the nights where I stay up the longest that are the most memorable. DRAGONBALL SUPER - I was prepared for Gowasu's death, but not how fast it was reversed. It was weeeeeird DRAGONBALL Z KAI - Mr. Satan's gonna need a lot of therapy after this one. And goddammit Goku and Vegeta, don't destroy the Potaras if you aren't planning on using them. FLCL - As one of NIBAI MUGENDAI's biggest influences, rewatching this first episode is making me wanna go back to writing it, in spite of my writing priorities lying elsewhere. Even at age 23, I can't wrap my head around several of the context-less dialogue pieces. Also, the manga scene is perfection. JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE - Puberty was very kind to Polnareff, if his child form says anything. And holy shit Alessi makes me even more uncomfortable than McGillis at his pedo-est. GUNDAM IBO - Pop Team Epic ruined Orga's death for me. BLACK CLOVER - I still can't believe I'm enjoying this show as much as I am. Clearly it's because of the little things, like Asta asking Noelle why she's blushing when he's the half-naked one. HUNTER x HUNTER - The King has arrived, he's quite possibly the biggest dick of all the ants, and Gon and Killua are depressed now. I think this was the moment HxH quit being a kids' show, if you choose to ignore the fact that Hisoka is a character. (Kinda wish we got to see how Gon and Killua lost in detail, though.) NARUTO SHIPPUDEN - REPLY TO ANGEL: "Did Sasuke's personality do a complete 180 for awhile in the first series that made him a fairly likable person or something?" I don't really remember if it did or not, so for now, I'm gonna guess Naruto claiming he's his best friend is a case of "you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone" only extra gay. SPACE DANDY - How many of you legit forgot this episode like the other characters? I can't say that I did, but I do remember forgetting some parts after watching it for the first time in forever. COWBOY BEBOP - If I was Ben, I'd be able to recite this episode from memory, only not because he's full of shit. GITS 2ND GIG - I can't help but be a little disappointed that they hyped up the guys behind the plutonium deal only to kill them off so unceremoniously. I blame Goda for this. COMMERCIALS - I shake my head at the return of the "Smh." commercial. Holy shit, the "Isle of Dogs" pun really is that annoying when you keep seeing ads for it. I'm actually thinking about watching Ballmastrz, I've heard plenty of good things about it. As for Toonami stuff, I don't know what's worse: Demarco's music video pick of the week, or SARA not knowing how to properly pronounce FLCL. Though I'll confess, I used to spell it out too before knowing any better. [kuri kuri kuri]
