  1. Initial D: Fourth Stage 2
  2. Black Clover is a thing. It's just not a "thing".
  3. Inuyashiki Last Hero 8
  4. From episode 5 of Attack of the Kinky Kunoichi:
  5. NARUTO SHIPPUDEN - It was different having a filler where Naruto went on a mission with three nobodies and not any actual recognizable characters. Somewhat comfy, too. OUTLAW STAR - I personally felt half of the OS Crew vs. MacDougalls fight was a little inconsistent. How did we get from Suzuka fighting Ron's dogs to fighting Ron himself, exactly? SPACE DANDY - Leave it to Mamitas' character designer to make her outfit so arousing that the reveal of her being the Deathgenarian comes at you like a truck running into an isekai protagonist. COWBOY BEBOP - This episode had more notable screenshots and promo-included quotes than I remember it having. GITS: SAC 2ND GIG - To be completely honest, sometimes I forget that Pazu's even there. Hopefully this episode changes things.
  6. Deviant-Art artist, and a surprisingly decent one at that.
  7. Clacker balls. I'd personally say Iok is worse, not only because just watching him on-screen is aggravating in and of itself, but because there's still the chance that McGillis may wait until Almiria is of age to do anything sexual with her. @EmpressAngel Noelle's new spell appears to be defensive, so I don't think it needs aiming. DRAGONBALL SUPER - Krillin was on fire this week, and I don't mean that like I mean Trunks' time machine. DRAGONBALL Z KAI - Punished Satan: A Man Robbed of His Alcohol. BLACK CLOVER - You know the show is improving when they have an interaction between Asta and Sister Lilly that doesn't involve one asking the other to marry them. JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE: STARDUST CRUSADERS - I can't help but wonder what DIO's reaction would have been upon learning that Speedwagon had made it big in the time he was stuck in the Atlantic. MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM: IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS - Amida cracked Iok's windshield, and Naze rammed the Hammerhead directly into one of their ships, so it's not like their deaths were completely meaningless. HUNTER x HUNTER - Lotta random insects this episode. Something Togashi included in the original manga, or perhaps an anime-original inclusion by the storyboarder?
  8. I recently took notice of a similarity between the main instrumental of The Animals' "House of the Rising Sun" and that of "Ajisai" by SHUUBI, the opening theme to Pachislo Kizoku Gin, an anime that's less popular, somehow more accessible, and yet just as obscure as AWOL.
  9. Pop Team Epic 6
  10. Sorry I haven't gotten around to it yet, I've just been having a busier Saturday than normal - the morning was spent trading in my almost-shot 2001 Ford Focus for an all-new 2018 Fiesta. To quote Meta, it's like I'm not allowed to have a day off or somethin'... Tonight on Toonami, Goku's fight with Black arrives sooner than he expected, Gohan shows off his newly tapped skills as he takes over as Super Buu's opponent, Asta and Noelle's boar-hunting mission truly begins as they and Magna arrive in Saussy Village (birthplace of the Saussy puppet show), not even escaping the submarine can keep our heroes away from High Priestess's overpowered lack of an ass, Naze tries to save as many of the Turbines as he can as the impending clash with Gjallarhorn approaches, the Hunter Association begins prepping an extermination squad upon hearing news of the Chimera Ants' heinous deeds, turns out there's actually a Leaf ninja who's stayed a genin longer than Naruto has as of this point in the Toonami broadcast, the crew's continued search for information on the Galactic Leyline leads them to another run-in with the MacDougalls, a warp-speed trip to Boobies leaves Dandy and crew stranded on a planet filled with dangerous and deceptive aliens, Spike takes his ship in for maintenance (and something involving the Columbia space shuttle had it avoided disaster), and the aftermath of the Individual Eleven's group suicide leads to - of all things - Pazu reuniting with an old flame. 10:30 - Dragonball Super #50 - Goku vs. Black! A Closed-Off Road to the Future - TV-PGV 11:00 - Dragonball Z Kai #149 - Buu Overwhelmed! Ultimate Gohan's Super Power! - TV-PGLV 11:30 - Black Clover #9 - Beasts - TV-PGL 12:00 - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders #24 - High Priestess, Part 2 - TV-MAV 12:30 - Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans #40 - Lit by a Blazing Sun - TV-14 1:00 - Hunter x Hunter #83 - Inspiration to Evolve - TV-14V 1:30 - Naruto Shippuden #190 - Naruto and the Old Soldier - TV-PGV 2:00 - Outlaw Star #21 - Grave of the Dragon - TV-14L 2:30 - Space Dandy #3 - Occasionally Even the Deceiver is Deceived, Baby - TV-14SV 3:00 - Cowboy Bebop #19 - Wild Horses - TV-14L 3:30 - Ghost in the Shell: STAND ALONE COMPLEX 2nd Gig #13 - MAKE UP - TV-MA
  11. Damn straight Hotaru's better than Saya. There's a reason Jam-Orbital made her the one being gagged in his pictoral shout-out to their show.
  12. Pop Team Epic is best, no contest.
  13. The only soul-crushing thing about Chelsea's death is that she was the only Night Raid member to not be at some degree of peace while dying. I mean, just look at that face. That is not a peaceful face.
  14. I can believe him asking repeatedly about it, because that's Demarco for ya. Fair thoughts about FLCL 2/Progressive: while I believe the first FLCL is perfect as is, I don't really see the harm in making a second or a third. That is, under the assumption that it's being used as a training ground for established and up-and-coming animators to go wild and develop their style like with Space Dandy or even the original FLCL, though we all know the latter was primarily a pick-me-up for the animators working on End of Evangelion. I'm going into it viewing it not as a strict sequel series like most everyone else is assuming it is, but as a FLCL for a new generation that's only using the FLCL name and universe as a way to avoid being seen as a complete rip-off. I'd imagine Production I.G was thinking that way when Demarco asked them about the sequel, while GAINAX just focused on Naota's story and just Naota's story, believing that's all FLCL was about.
  15. North Korea's participating this year, so of course they do.
  16. Actually, here's how things went. Demarco asked GAINAX, one of FLCL's original producers, to make the sequel and they said no. After the rights reverted to Production I.G, the other producer, he asked them, and they said yes. GAINAX said no. Production I.G said yes. Two different entities. Do you get it now?
  17. Yeah, but when it's an unasked for critical analysis, targeted at someone who doesn't take even constructive criticism well... it takes some time to accept it.
  18. ...I didn't really ask for or need that long post, but thanks?
  19. I'm excited, fight me if you don't like my opinion. Cool names, too.
  20. Soul Buster 3 Neo Ranga 15
  21. It's Elfie, so it's probably just sarcasm with absolutely no indication that it is sarcasm.
  22. Kuroko's Basketball 15
  23. It's one year younger than Tokyo Ghoul, it's not like it doesn't have a chance.
