So this has been making the rounds - Another David Zaslav special. Poke was upset with the comparison when it was (briefly) made two weeks ago, but yeah, DanDaDan is superior.

Admittedly most Muslim leaders have come out and said just that. “Trump is buddies with Israel and has business there, he will cheer if they kill more people.” -

Megaton Musashi W: Wired. This game has taken about 10 mecha anime and crammed them into a blender, then hit liquify. But it has more of Daimos and Megazone 23 than the others.

I can’t hate American comics all these years later. Any medium that makes a story where The Great Gatsby fights Godzilla is worth preserving.

DanDaDan 4. Yeah, this is the best show of the season.

In a similar manner to the LA Times, the Washington Post was set to endorse Kamala Harris, then their billionaire owner said no, so they endorsed no one. https://www.theverge.com/2024/10/25/24279602/jeff-bezos-washington-post-kamala-harris-endorsement -

It’s a shame it was so mentally exhausting for Matt and Trey. It’s probably why they switched over to the Tegridy farms stuff. -

Why any political show would try to argue with Stephen A. Smith is beyond me. Someone misses Joe. -

https://www.newsweek.com/michigan-republican-endorses-harris-calls-trump-totally-unhinged-1974077 More current Republicans are endorsing Harris, much to Lindsey Graham’s consternation and his tongue being tired from all the bootlicking. https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/4947150-texas-early-voting-turnout-record/amp/ The polarized nature of the political block has resulted in record turnout in Texas, traditionally a very low turnout state (2020 saw 51% of eligible voters stay home). -

Because the Electoral College is fucked up and we're all still collectively traumatized from 2016. The Electoral College and the way states are divided fundamentally forces it to be close. It's a fucked up way of voting, and will remain so until we finally get a majority capable of outlawing it, but in terms of popular vote, it's not close. But the Electoral College fundamentally does not allow that. -

I genuinely think people were looking for a reason not to vote for Hillary because they didn’t like her as a person. And they got it with those damn emails. Harris has the same GOP spin machine running against her, but she does not have the baggage of being seen as heir apparent. Hillary was one of the worst candidates to ever run, and Harris only has half her issues, namely her lower half. I’ll be honest, I won’t feel comfortable about the political process until Trump is dead. But I guess better terrified than complacent. -
