This CG works for a shounen where people punch other people in the face. Not right after Arise.

Toei is charging too much. Probably why they think a live action show deserves Game of Thrones money.

And he’ll be banned within the day. With Bebop’s production on hold after John Cho’s unfortunate injury, odds are 50/50 whether this stays on further hold, or they work on this in the interim including casting it. Also, Bebop had enough trouble casting Ed (they still haven’t revealed who’s playing her). Casting Luffy is going to be a complete nightmare.

Gun X Sword 18-19. Saint Seiya 1-2.

Yeah but visual aids always help. Let’s be blunt for a second. Nami gets a ton of fan art because she’s a pretty redhead with ginormous tits (and the fact she‘s one of the more moderate designs in One Piece speaks volumes) and well, her interactions with the crew run the gambit from hilarious to adorable. To cast her with Letitia Wright would have everyone saying the meanest thing they could without sounding racist because she would be beyond miscast.

No, just the original Japanese song. You can’t change the song unless it’s a remake. Then you can have the Struts do the ending. -

It reminds me of the shitfit Mamuro Nagano (Five Star Stories’ author) threw over his film, Gothicmade. It came out in 2012, is by all accounts incomprehensible, but he refuses to release it to any home media because it’s meant to be experienced in theaters or some shit. There comes a point where artistic integrity, that “these films are meant to be seen on the big screen” is short sighted elitism. BTW, Goodfellas is a frequent stop on HBO On Demand.

https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2019-10-16/gkids-studio-ghibli-has-no-plans-to-release-films-on-streaming-services/.152308 And then once he’s out of a position of power they probably pull an immediate about face. Edit - Or literally a day later. Well, it’s not TV, it’s HBO. And Polygon’s credibility goes further down the toilet.

Finished Seis Manos, and now I’m doing something strange, playing One Piece Pirate Warriors 3. Basically the equivalent of injecting a decade of One Piece into my veins as I expect to hear more news on the Netflix series. Also Blade of the Immortal 1.
