...You didn’t read anything besides that did you? As a character Ochako was always supposed to be there. She was always the main girl. The main difference was that she was supposed to be a size shifter. The author thought that was too hard to write the way he envisioned it so he made Mt. Lady the size shifter and gave her the gravity powers.

IIRC the gravity power was going to go to a boy. Uraraka would have actually had Mt. Lady’s power, but the author couldn’t write it too much without making her a more conventional size shifter, so the powers got shuffled around.

She’s a reference to Mirko Cro Cop? That’s...not the origin I expected. Yeah, the episode could have been called “the perils of fame.” Endeavor is simply not up to being a symbol the way All Might was, his Human Torch powers and cold demeanor make him the guy in the shadows more than the one who leads in the light. Discount Angel seems to realize that as well. Also a book by...Destro? Did he write an autobiography after leaving Cobra?

I’m just gonna post random superhero story covers in the hopes MHA does a take on them. Acts of Vengeance was a fun one, it had all the villains banded together to fight heroes they didn’t normally fight. Problem was the villains didn’t get along. “Oh right, having the Holocaust survivor in close proximity to a Nazi couldn’t possibly end badly...” I think at this point the reruns have made us all ready to move past the school festival.

The school festival is thankfully done, now back to more superhero stories. How about Acts of Vengeance?

That would admittedly be a curveball.

Good, then only two weeks before the Stinger for the next season.

How Did Jojo get to be this unpopular on toonami?
Jman replied to CountFrylock's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
The show has significant more life on Netflix and other streaming services. Combination of being late to the hype and the censorship. -
People have to care about the show before drawing porn.

Only one appropriate reaction -

It was predicted that that would dub the last as a pair. Works for me.

The anime reboot train rolls on with a Shaman King reboot

Also, before they became a pachinko maker, Konami made two GBA Shaman King games that are essentially Castlevania games. -

...Man, my memory on these two shows is all over the place. Let’s see... Shaman King, according to the author is “JoJo with fighting game mechanics.” Essentially everyone uses Stands. Doubly ironic when you remember that Stardust Crusaders got a fighting game from Capcom. There’s been interest in a reboot for several years, but the manga ka was insistent that they get the rights to the original music back (the PV track is the same opening for the original series). Zatch Bell was on Toonami and was about this possessed puppet, thing? Never watched it. -

Also right now Studio Orange is a rumor since they said their next project would be “familiar”. -

Edit - I confused it with another 4Kids butcher, Zach Bell. Well crap, wrong folder. -

Amazon apparently greenlights a live action Promised Neverland
Jman replied to Jman's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
I get it, sort of. All the good Western comics have been adapted to film and television and all that’s left is edgelord crap, SJW crap, or a combination of the two. So writers go East for licenses, even though the success to failure ratio is insanely skewed in the latter direction. -
