There were so many goddamn MHA costumes this year as Comic Con and MHA merch was a huge seller. Now that needs to translate into ratings. That same Con also beat it into my head Deku is essentially trying to be Captain America.

Joe, to me, has a very human motivation, but it’s not one every person has. I think that shines through and is why I liked his character so much, especially juxtaposed with less idealistic characters.

To wit, you can see what gets silence (Rerider) a small pop (Goblin Slayer, Shield Hero) a big pop (JoJo, Is it wrong to pick up girls in a Dungeon?) and laughter (Senran Kagura). Also Gary and his Demons, a show most people probably dismissed watching when they saw the ads on VRV, had a clip shown, and it was pretty damn funny.

Besides that. Ping Pong’s great but boxing man. (Still want a Karare Minoru Anime).

This wouldn’t be so bad if they weren’t fronting the costs for FLCL 3’s production. And I know they need more originals to stay competitive, but maybe sequels to 15 year old shows isn’t the answer. Don’t make Cowboy Bebop II is what I’m gonna say again.

Well they certainly have a lot of nice visuals. Also people are theorizing the Peter Parker in this movie is the same one from the Sam Raimi films (aka the Tobey Maguire one). Make of that what you will.

More CG shading but the significantly bigger budget means it actually looks good (and the frame rate is purposefully evocative of comic books). Also Nicolas Cage is in this.

This is less a sequel and more an exhuming of a corpse. Give Bleach credit, it didn’t give us a pointless sequel, just a live action movie with the relationship everyone thought made more sense anyway.
